Yes, although the official color change was in 1998. That change was "Team Yamaha Blue," and it changed to "Reflex Blue." As far as I know that is still the factory color. You may be experiencing color disparities between manufacturers, as sometimes even the factory plastics come from multiple sources. How bad is it?

I have no problems with the penalties but if you have that many red cross/red light jumping violations there is something systemic going on and it should be looked at internally to understand why.
