I think they were referring to Jmart. Also I think op made a great point with this list. According to this a rookie hasn’t podiumed this early in the season since AC debut in 2013. That makes it 10 YEARS since this has happened last. Seems pretty notable to me.

I agree completely. I hadn't watched any of their social media or YouTube stuff up until a few months ago, maybe after his national debut last year, and I had a little bit of a "ah man this whole thing feels forced and they are acting too cool for everyone" attitude. Then I watched some of their YouTube stuff and honestly whether you're a fan or not, that whole crew seems super humble and genuine. If you hear a stoked dad bragging on his kid and your first instinct is "I better prove him wrong," the problem isn't Deegan...

He can only race whats in front of him, being like .4 off the pace at Daytona quite impressive imo. Most of those stats of previous riders were when 250s weren't filled with champions and great mature experienced riders, going off those stats AC is better than Carmichael. If your eyes are telling you Deegan isn't impressive then go get your eyes checked, hes the real deal.

What part of his career is not a side show? Daddy Deegs created it and used it to sell merch. He seems very adept at selling his kids to the public.

I’ve never really been into his YouTube channel but I was excited to see what he could do in the main, must mean I like him. can they drop the dangerboy tag though? it’s getting pretty lame already. Haiden Deegan is a good name, he should rock it.

Wow, this place is dripping with jealous haters. I'm most definitely not a Deegan fanboy and have never cared for the whole Metal Mulisha flatbill crowd but to take away from Haiden's talent, hard work and results because of hatred for his dad is pretty pathetic. The kid is the real deal and all of you standing with anti-Deegan pitchforks just waiting to jab, it's going to be a very long cold road for you since he is just getting started in his pro career.

I found the Deegan's Youtube channel to be super annoying, and Youtube would always recommend me their videos. I just blocked the channel and waited for him to turn pro. There's so much content on the internet why would you go out of your way to watch something that pisses you off? You don't like something, just ignore it. He's a very young rookie and is showing amazing speed and impressive consistency. The sport is better with him on the gate, simple as that.
