At this point if you are one of these guys talking negative about him iN any fashion you’re just a douche of the royal order. I can’t believe people are actually nitpicking that he’s had years of practice. No shit? I thought all these guys just picked this up as a lark a year ago. There were a ton of cheers for him in the crowd. He's gotta be selling a few seats... He forgot to ghost ride his bike after the heat race win but other than that he's a pretty talented kid.

It's amazing to me how much unwarranted shit this kid receives, I honestly don't understand it. He's humble, respectful, and doesn't come off remotely cocky in his interviews. He easily wins a Heat Race in his second Supercross ever and even while the reporter tries to goad him into talking shit, he doesn't. He then says he's just glad to be there and wants to do the best he can for his team and he just wants to get experience racing Supercross...after he just checked out in his heat race! Yes his family is wealthy, yes Brian is famous, and...

The kid is super impressive. Quite a bit better than I was expecting. a lot of water still to pass under the bridge. But what an impressive first couple of races. Good to see young kids turning some heads

I can’t stand Deegan. I’m a Lawrence fan boy. but Damm! The kid can ride! He’s shown his maturity with not pushing and letting the races come to him. The speed is there. Just comes with time and adjustment. He shouldnt have pressure to win. Sitting 3rd in points, consistent rides a little luck. The title could swing his way if he keeps riding the way he has.

I'm really impressed by Deegan so far. He is a bit loose but he attacks the track. I liked how he didn't back down from Hunter. I think he seems to have a good head on his shoulders. Hopefully he stays healthy and just uses this year to learn w/o pushing too much. But if a win comes to him then that woukd be awesome. I dont think he needs a main win this season, to prove anything.

RC went 11, 19, 1, 6, 1 his first year in SX. It does show that his first race was a west round then he raced the east series. Maybe the rules were different back then. CR was 17, 6, 5, 8. KW 3, 2, 3, 3. Jeremy McGrath 11, 8, 2, 8. Not all the greats started off winning everything. How about his dad? Brian Deegen 20, 16, 10, 15. So he’s starting off better then his old man.

You don't "luck" into a top 5 in SX. It takes a lot of skill to be in the right place to capitalize on mistakes. He's good for the sport and I hope his online presence helps it grow.

Haiden Deegen has been more than impressive. If any other rider, in their first season in sx , achieved the results Haiden has, they would be getting accolades for their accomplishments. Brian has done an excellent job in shaping his son for motocross, and if you are not commending Haiden Deegan, then perhaps you should examine your bias. Just as impressive is Vialle, who has very little sx experience at all. I'll also throw in Chance Hymas. These riders are going to be shredding it in a season or two and are the future champions of our sport.

He is fun to watch.

The lengths some of you guys will go to discredit his rides is just mind blowing, he’s doing an absolutely stellar job as a rookie and his improvement since the Futures race a few weeks ago is remarkable. He’s exceeded everyone’s expectations by a long shot and looked surprisingly controlled doing it, that’s pretty damn good for a first season.

I can't believe we are still getting negative comments about this kid. He is yet another top guy that is adding storylines and competition. You don't have to like him or his Dad, but you cannot argue these first two rides have been great....albeit in a very weak overall 250 field.

Think his had 7th fastest lap in both main. Consistent rider, just see the raw speed comes in next year or so

He is this close and its only his 2nd race and he already won a qualifier . Thats pretty dam impressive.
