You could hear in David’s voice that he was getting visibly upset. Hunter handled the situation very well. When you watch the “altercation” back you can see Smith being the aggressor after Deegan came out of the whoops hot and Smith tried to go around the outside of him.

David is a long time Jordon Smith supporter. That was obviously personally charged by him. I'm not opposed to asking a professional the hard questions, that felt kind of excessive though.

It’s so funny to me hearing Carmichael say that was over the line. When he was on the 125 he was slamming into people all the time lol. And on the 250 he was very aggressive, just a little tamer than he was on that Pro Circuit 125.

I was thinking Smith was faster and if he really wanted that heat race win he could have backed off for two corners and passed him back. If he had showed a little patience he would have been in the main. He could have just paced Deegan and made the main.
