He's going to surprise a lot of people this year, this is the first time in his career that he has good equipment. Back when the spanish federation started the EMX125 team he was the best in the team, last year it was a rollercoaster for him, started the year as a GasGas rider for the Spanish Mx2 championship, was a title contender but got injured, then he got a ride for a german team to race EMX250 and the German MX2 championship (he won that one), but the bike was pretty much a stock one. Ferrandis has only been back on the bike for 2 weeks. Chase and Jett have lost no time on their bikes. Is it really that big of a surprise that he was off a little bit? Yesterday went exactly the way I thought it would.

What's going on Vital Nation, My names Matt Burkeen and I'm back for another year of Pro Motocross on the YZ250 2 stroke, and this time we are set to do all 11 rounds for the season! Really great ride by Deegan. I had him and Shimoda for the picks amongst friends. I would have take Hunter and Deegan had the chance. The kid is in great shape and has the want to to be great. Overall I was impressed with the PC rookies, Vialle, and some others.

I've always found the 250 class to be a little more exciting with the inconsistencies of up and coming riders. As for who can challenge Hunter, I think we saw today Shimoda has speed, as does Hampshire and maybe even deegan can throw it in there. Vialle will continue to improve throughout the season too.

For Vialle to land on the podium today after the qualifying he had and after he got shuffled back at the end of moto one is a big win for him. He looked like a different rider in moto 2. I definitely think he will start winning before the second half of the season starts. Impressed by Deegan aswell.
