Depending where Deegan finishes the main will decide who’s interviewing him. If he podiums the main, I’ll ask about in press conference. If he doesn’t podium, Lewis will try to snag him in the pits.

I was thinking Smith was faster and if he really wanted that heat race win he could have backed off for two corners and passed him back. If he had showed a little patience he would have been in the main. He could have just paced Deegan and made the main.

IMO Deegan ran him hard initially, (being a teammate) but we don’t know what’s up between the two. As it carried on it was over the top. Smith was faster and didn’t play his cards right given his experience. Star won’t let this slide, Danger boy is gonna get an ass chewing. Move on, teachable moment.

I thinks Deegs for sure initiated everything. He was in the wrong there. But Smith in my opinion let's his mind get carried away and starts making mistakes, almost like he panics. And I think everything that happened afterwards was a result of that. At this point, you'd like to think he could manage that a little better and his night could've still ended up with a solid main. But I totally understand being frustrated with how Haiden rode him. Bad look for the team. Haiden rode well in the main though. But his "rubbing is racing" comment may come back to bite him.

I think the “teammate” thing is a little overused. They both just ride the same bike, both racing for a win. It’s not a team sport guys.
