Man, I thought DB was great and I criticize RC's commentary often, but it's just not that big of a deal. Sometimes certain employees are just "the chosen ones" in their workplace, and others that may be better just get passed over. It's a fact of life that happens everywhere, every day. This isn't really massive news. Sucks for DB, but it is what it is man.

-Set a rule that the starts have to be a minimum length. 2 out of the 3 starts this season were too short. -Set a rule that the line after the first turn has to be a minimum length. Go back to 20-rider gates. Would help so many problems. 22 riders on 450's reaching the first turn at the same time wasn't a good idea when they started doing it in 2008, and that was before the grates.

I think I remember Reed saying that he liked that version of the YZ (06+) because the front would push some and he could sort of slide into the corners.

I think Keefer is doing that 2009 YZ450F comparison next. My memory could be off, but I think he said they're rebuilding one since it's hard to find a pristine stocker. The 2010 YZ450F seems a lot like the 2009 Honda in my mind... Lots of guys hated them, a few loved them.

Only difference is, not a single one of those guys could push a bike as hard as Stew could and go as fast as him. Stew would most def. Show a bikes weakness if anybody could out of ever name you mentioned. Guy had way more raw speed then anybody then.

11/20/2024 2:12pm Perimeter seal tear offs can still get a bit of dirt and water behind them. Even the slightest bit of water can mess up your vision. With the gaskets you can pretty well get sprayed in the face with a pressure washer and won’t leak in. One less thing to worry about especially if you don’t like rolloffs

11/16/2022 1:47pm I’ve ran the KYB inserts for the last 2 years and was convinced they couldn’t be beat, even against kit forks and cone valves. I recently went back to back with 6500s dialled in and they were just as good with a slight traction advantage over the KYB. MX and off-road. Well worth it IMO.
