Yeah, their first ever races only got them a top 6 finish in SX after a crash in the first turn, holeshots and a podium at a Spanish national race, and all bikes performing flawlessly and instantly being on the pace of all the established brands despite being all-new. Arguably the best ever race debut of any mx brand. You're right. Absolutely nothing to crow about..

What is happening right now? They fucking killed it! Swoll was a beast. Came back from a crash in the main to finish well in the top 10. Ferry pulled a holeshot and won the LCQ in his first ever SX race. Clearly the bike can hang. Put Forkner on that thing and see where it finishes. Very impressive. And Beta did make it into the main with Bloss and that is impressive too. We should be thankful these manufacturers want to invest in our sport when everyone seems to suggest we are one year from extinction....

I don't get the lack of praise for their first outing. I thought it was VERY impressive. I was expecting one to not qualify and one to be outside the top 15-17. Sure some good riders were taken out but still I'm shocked they did so well.

Both are in the main. Huge success!!! The bikes look like they turn really well and have decent HP. Although power is kind of tough to tell on this track, LOL

As a sponsor at the highest levels, yes, social media, building a brand around yourself is a massive part of the process these days. Your presentation must be super professional, your conduct in the pit area, bike presentation... Of course, race results too. If you do approach companies, don't just ask ' can I have free stuff, I'll tell my friends', as this will not get a response. Think of an application for support exactly as a job application. As that's exactly what it is. You're asking to work representing the company. If you're successful, don't just take it as...

Young riders need to learn skills such as social media, computers, taking videos, and simple editing. Then they need to use it to promote themselves. After all it has never been easier to do these things. Do the work and not just ride. Successful people all wear many hats along their journey. Sponsorship needs to be good for the business as well and not just a handout. If you go ask for money, parts, and bikes then have a presentation of how you are going to bring money back to that brand.
