If you need another example of why our sport will never be taken seriously..... on the night supercross is in town, this is what they shut down broadway for.... thousands of people now going to associate this clown show with supercross.

Maybe this will work...
Thought it was very cool myself, my grandson loved it.
It's wheelie boys for fat old white guys.
Yeah it really impeded the ability of drunk assholes to stumble around in the street for a few hours.
Hmmmm…
Maybe it’s just me, but, I get the feeling some of us don’t know the vibe of downtown Nashville…Broadway…or that scene…in general.
That “Unleash the Beast” and “Concrete Cowboys” thing isn’t necessarily my scene…but…from Dallas (Irvington) SX to Red Bull Straight Rhythm to the Free Style Demos and Drifting demos at SEMA(including Harley/bike demos)…again “demos” and stunt stuff in general…when I take people that aren’t “hard core” fans…?
They seem to love this stuff.
When they had all the various demos at Vegas SX…when there was a Vegas SX…the demos were extremely well attended.
Whether or not people love it isn't really the issue to me. I see pro supercross riders as elite athletes who are incredibly disciplined and take what they do very seriously. I wish more people saw it that way. They have a lot of admirable qualities.
People may enjoy this kind of stuff when they stumble upon it, but it's so far removed from what makes supercross great that they have almost nothing in common. Check out the video. They're wheelie boys. Everyone seems to understand why having the general public associate moto with them is not great for the sport. This is the same thing in my mind.
Maybe it brought more interest in Supercross?
Just because you and I think Harley freestyle is dorky doesn't mean it won't appeal to the Monster Jam audience.
No monster jam, no supercross.
