Did he have insoles in them? The factory insoles for Gaerne are just thin slabs of foam. Some people with thinner feet will put a gel insole in to take out some of the slop. A thicker insole puts your foot higher into the boot where it tapers so it will make it feel narrower, as stitch down boots are widest where the upper meets the midsole. Dig out the insole and compare it to yours. I bet he put one in and forgot about it.

I get your childhood dream there because a custom painted helmet was the coolest and still is the coolest thing in the world! I have never ever ever ever looked forward to something so much to the day this thing arrived.. Enjoy your helmet, It looks great! Don't complain about making the bike less valuable. That's the cheapest part of off road racing. I started racing Hare Scrambles a couple years ago with my bike in the back of my 99 Ford F150. I loved that stinking truck and didn't want any part of a new truck but in short order I ended up at the races in my new Ram towing my new toy hauler with the dirt bike and new golf cart inside.

Dominate or not, he was still a kid that needed to mature in the Mx2 class, just because you are fast, dosent mean that you are ready for the next class. Im all in for riding what ever class you want or suits you. Back in the GP days we had plenty of ”small” riders that were 125cc specialist and were never suited to ride a larger CC bike. I just think its funny how some riders can get so much shit for it and others not for the same thing.
