Ponca City... Went in as #1 qualified west coast 125 expert in '79 and blew my ACL in first practice. Hate that place. There was no ACL fix in '79... On the other hand, I hope they have a great event!

There are a lot of idiotic theories that float around and get blindly repeated regarding US amateurs, and this seems to be the latest. The Star Yamaha amateur riders are competing against PC Kawis, HRC (FC) Hondas, Orange Brigade KTMs, Rockstar Huskys, TLD GasGas's, Rock River Yamahas, and BarX Suzukis, just like they will in the pros. These amateur team bikes are all built to about the same level, which is well built but not full factory treatment. Deegan may or may not produce as a pro, but that will be decided by talent and drive not some massive equipment...

I haven't looked at either copy of mine yet. Either copy???? Yes, I signed up at Budds twice to get double swag and they said they would run for two years instead of two issues for one year...... Guess what? I've called a couple times and no dice. Same thing happened when I renewed a few years ago at WW Ranch. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and I'm probably only going to give you three or four more chances.

Dallas/Fort Worth area. I lived in Arlington (right in the middle of Dallas and Fort Worth), there was a good amount of tracks within 30 minutes to an hour drive. Then if you want to venture out more, there’s another smaller selection of tracks in Austin, Houston, east texas, west Texas and Oklahoma, all within a few hours from DFW.

Blow the tube up and find out where are the holes in your tube located. If they are on the side then it a pinched tube, run more air pressure, if it's on the outer area (knobby area) then you might have something stuck in your tire. A big problem for me was the tire rotating and pulling the valve stem out. I drilled a hole and installed a bead lock.

Comms picked up by no one I know and I don’t know how I received them but,… AMA over the radio- “Hey Roger, what is the problem with Webb after that crash? Roger- “He looks like he is just waiting for some pain to stop in his arm and he appears to be picking up speed slowly but surely. Let him ride a while and maybe he will start using the arm again. Everything looks good just waiting on the arm. Sextons jersey is torn and is no longer properly displaying the AMA logo so keep him off his bike...
