Kid has unreal talent. Maybe I’m reading into the interview wrong but kinda sounds like his back hurts and he’s over it? Hope that’s not true love seeing his work.

I don’t think he was complaining about it. They gave a fist bump or whatever after the heat race.

Man the PC guys must be running extremely stiff forks. They’re the only ones continuously having problems with not being able to disengage the start hook, even after supposedly raising the locking position.

MTF opened around 2003 and I think of that as being one of the first "live and train" type places where homeschooling would be expected. Homeschooling for those who viewed moto as a career was taking off around that time. Not sure if it was popular before that though.

Maybe I'm just salty at Hunter or Kenny not getting the win, but Webb yet again (third time now?) getting the overall without a single win or even being close to the fastest rider in any race is why I hate the triple crown format.

There is a big difference in experiencing a hammered track in practice, and racing on a hammered track where your health relies on the ability of others around you. I have no issue with them having a rough practice track to navigate, but the field isn't skilled enough top to bottom to sufficiently reduce risk under racing conditions. I'm an advocate for giving them the cleanest track they can for racing. Sure speeds are higher, but you don't have to worry (as much) about someone less skilled cross-rutting and taking someone else out.

Bet none of you keyboard warriors have kids that are trying to make it. I was thinking EXACTLY what Reed said 5 min before his interview. He too has seen his kid in the ER, and in ICU as a result of racing. When it's your kid on the track unconscious, with a bone sticking out of his arm you'll feel a little differently. Been there, done that, and I'm fvcking glad we are out of the competitive side of this sport. I'm with you OP. Edit: I downvoted the rest of you dumbasses.
