Question for everyone. Minnesota currently has around 500 criminal illegal immigrants in custody who have already been ordered to be deported by a federal judge and several hundred more with order to detain pending their deportation case. Do you think leaders in Minnesota should try to improve the current situation by offering to cooperate with ICE to turn over these people? Seems like low hanging fruit to me. What's the argument against doing this?

Their tactics changed because cities stopped cooperating with them. When local police transfer people to ICE without a fuss then ICE doesn't have to go looking for them. When politicians get behind a podium and proudly declare they aren't going to do that anymore and forbid their officers from doing the things the way they did it when Obama was asking, then ICE has to change their tactics.
