Looking back on his first term, what will go down in history as the calm term before the volcano. I can probably find more than a few things that was good for the USA. One of those was to urge the NATO allies to bump up their investments in military defense. But in this second term I see a lot of fake propaganda, weird ways to lower prices (exp: import from eggs who are not suited for human consumption, but will be used in pasta, cookies, ... in the USA.) Also other grocery prices aren't going down like promised.

That's all you have to say. There's no "but" here, you can't do that. You don't get to "try to assist the lady" that police are trying to take into custody. We're seeing the same thing you're just having a hard time admitting what it was because the response was so out of proportion. Two wrongs. The second wrong doesn't make the first wrong right and it's OK to say that. That's not to say that they are equal in any other way or that anything that happened afterwards is OK or being condoned. Just like the officer can't justify the shoot based on anything that happened prior, you cannot ignore the dead guy's behavior because of what happened after.
Not sure how anyone can watch the videos and be ok with that.

But once violence happens, responsibility isn’t 'distributed', it lands on the person who did it. But saying 'others didn’t behave flawlessly' after a rape or a shooting is just a softer way of shifting the framing away from the actor and onto the environment, the victim, the situation, the context, whatever.
And here’s a part you’re sidestepping. If it would be cruel to say this to your daughter after she’s raped, why isn’t it cruel to say it about a man who was killed in Minneapolis?
Prevention logic isn't the same as blame logic.

Responsibility is for after it happens.
