Question for everyone. Minnesota currently has around 500 criminal illegal immigrants in custody who have already been ordered to be deported by a federal judge and several hundred more with order to detain pending their deportation case. Do you think leaders in Minnesota should try to improve the current situation by offering to cooperate with ICE to turn over these people? Seems like low hanging fruit to me. What's the argument against doing this?

Hopefully Trump's retelling of the call is accurate and not just self serving and some good will come of it. Hopefully other sanctuary cities change their policy before their citizens get killed and ICE is able to revert to some more sane approaches.

 I'm glad that there are supporters of his speaking out against things they dislike. And being honest they dislike something Trump is doing. Instead of just  going along with whatever is said. Better late than  never. And honestly, his first term was nothing like this . He has been acting like somebody who is drunk on power and has surrounded himself with yesmen. There have been plenty of voters of his changing their minds. Or saying that this particular thing is just wrong or too much. 

 Its good to see Fox hosts ( Maria Bartiromo and one of the older guys I do not remember his name)  asking questions about how the video showed a very different chain of events than the official report on it described it . And pressing for a response when the ICE or DHS rep avoided a direct answer.   They didn't get any real answer  during any of the footage I saw. I think its good for people that have an audience of Trump supporters and people who will not trust or even watch or listen to some of the other news sources getting to hear these things. 

 I think it carries more weight for the people who are still supporters of Trump to hear criticism's from fellow supporters. I feel like they are more likely to really listen and take the information in VS hearing it from somebody they think of as some "Libtard" with TDS that just hates Trump. The people who support him are the people who need to see and hear the bad things he's doing. Its up to them if those bad things outweigh the things they perceive as good.  But I think there's a much better chance for minds to change when they are getting the info from a " trusted source" . 

This country needs to come together somehow. The division is bad and long term  its worse. I don't know what could do it. Perhaps another politician with similar ability to hypnotise followers, but one that wants to bring us all together to work together on common goals. Like I would expect a bussnus man/owner would have run the country. How could You run a business when You call half your workers enemies? It would never function at a high level. Getting people to work together is  a basic skill needed to be considered for even the most entry level job leading a group of people. Crazy that it's not a requirement  for so many voters to be their president!

The thread was locked because we were showing actual facts that ICE has a job to do and people impeding federal agents are committing federal crimes. You are NOT on the correct side of the isle when you are creating chaos against law enforcement for going after criminals regardless of citizenship. These people have zero clue who they are trying to stop the police from arresting. They are going after violent multiple offense criminals and illegals that have been released back into the public by the previous admin. And you certainly aren't "protesting" if you are there to cause a direct problem with law enforcement and show force towards them. You don't arm yourself at a "peaceful protest" when your only objective is to be combative and use force against law enforcement. Then if you decide to go for said weapon, you will be shot. Its pretty simple how easy it is to NOT get into these situations. Let them do their job by cleaning up YOUR streets and removing violent criminals. ICE probably would have been gone in 2 weeks if people just left them alone.

Seems like the trump admin is doing the smart thing and scaling back some based on recent reports. 

It seems possible. Then I would question the agents training to have accidentally pulled the trigger. Also shouldn't dissolve the agent from getting charged with murder.
