Im on a 26 TF-450X, Im at 13 hours on the bike. 20mm + hammerhead shifter. Dont think it matters but Ill mention it anyway also running OEM clutch plates and Blud Lub 10W-40, down from 10W-50 due to cold weather. I did some riding around today trying to recreate any sort of false neutrals. Under max throttle on 2nd-3rd...

Extended Wheelbase. Some people complain about feeling less stable on the 23-25 yzf and 24-26 yzfx than the older generation. An easy mod is to extend the rear wheel to lengthen the wheelbase. Now the yzf axle is too large to slide back enough for a 116 link chain, so you have 2 options. 1 is to buy a swingarm from the 14-17 yzf because it's got a longer axle slot. The other option is to Dremel the slot a bit so the axle can move back far enough for proper chain adjustment. Take a little bit at a time...

So update on my end of this. All riders that I know personally have had there bikes repaired. One himself, one another shop did the work and a couple otheres held out till triumph took care of them. Triumph is now taking care of anyone whos having issues it appears. Most of the issues are the shift drum, forks and the detent being replaced and a new clutch pack. My recommendation is if its getting to be notchy when shifting 2nd-3rd take it on to have it looked at. Every 15 hours check your clutch plates or if your clutch...

I hear ya At this point I am not sure I will tear mine down and report. Im on the fence between keeping my Triumph or keeping my CRF. I love the Triumph chassis and thats largly why I bought it BUT I may continue working on the Hondas issues instead. If I do tear the Triumph down I will certainly tell all. Much of the reason I took a chance on a first year bike was because it looked like a ktm copy motor. Outside it is BUT inside it is not. the cases are similar to the 2023...

I rarely use the clutch to shift while actively riding. I do the typical clutchless shifting. Letting off the throttle a tiny hair a bit to clutchless shift up, I do the same clutchless shift going down by adding a tiny bit of throttle. Ive also used the quickshifter function without any issues. I can try experimenting this weekend with...

Im running a 26 TF450X with an extended Yammie shifter. No issues SO FAR Im at 13 hours, it just has the impossible to find neutral sometimes like KTMs do. I'm theorizing since Im running a 20+ extender shifter it just over powers any issues. I'm on my 3rd oil change and no debris except the very first oil change...

does anyone have some pics of the TF450 transmission parts I could take a look at? Im particularly interested in the drum and the forks. My TF450 has been trully great so far. However it has shifted harder than typical from new and now with about 12 hrs on it ( all light duty btw) it still shifts the same. I had 2 ktms that shifted similarly (although they didnt jump out or miss, just shifted hard and notchy). It turned out to be uneven fork finger coating thickness that would tilt the gears slightly on their splined shafts. This...

Been riding my TF450X got about 10 hours on it now. Had 0 issues with the clutch even under high load condition, at high speeds. I run an extended shifter on it which could be a game changer. I had more shifting problems on my YZ250f under heavy load. 0 issues on my YZ450. I agree on the Kawi stuff...

The fact you think Jake Paul is an elite level boxer immediately negates your opinion on the subject. To those who think it's AI, sadly, no it's not: https://nypost.com/2025/12/22/sports/jake-paul-flaunts-cash-guns-from-p…

Loving mine. It took some work, initially the bike was terrible when I set it up similar to my YZ450F, we softened it and it was great until the suspension it broke in and it was absolutely terrible again. A little bit of time on the clickers fixed it right up. I'm still running a 110/90 rear on it but...

I was looking for this exact exerpt from him. I found other ones but it was just a preference thing. I'm worried about upsetting the already iffy stability of the bike, but yeah I do feel a knot or when it finds an angle it sits there. Then just THROWS itself in. Great at MX but not good in th...

Anyone cut their bars down? Currently running OEM bars on my TF450X its the bend I run on my YZ but they just havent been cut down. I feel like I'm overpowering the front end of the bike at times even with the steering stem tight as hell. My YZ450 bars are the same bend as the TF cut to...

Do-All type culitvators will turn the rocks back under to a point. Honest answer. Walk around every time you can with wheelbarrow or tractor bucket or whatever, and pull what you see, make a pile somewhere. It's not a one day thing but over time makes a big difference.
