Been riding my TF450X got about 10 hours on it now. Had 0 issues with the clutch even under high load condition, at high speeds. I run an extended shifter on it which could be a game changer. I had more shifting problems on my YZ250f under heavy load. 0 issues on my YZ450.
I agree on the Kawi stuff, both my Kawis as good as they where. Both had constant problems with weak threads, plastics, shit falling off, spokes breaking, wheels bending, my 24 came with internal fork cartridge damage from factory, my 22 had multiple failing fuel pumps in 15 hour, counter shaft seals, plus more I can't remember. My buddy had his exhaust subframe tab break constantly. Good bikes, just fragile.
Well our local dealer had a demo day over the weekend with Triumphs and Huskys. I felt the Husky way outperformed that Triumph 450. Triumph also had a weird frame that my Sidi boots would get hung in. I did. it ride the 250 but my son came off and said the same thing before we had talked at all. It did cut down good out of a berm but man everything else I thought the Husky was better. I have rose KTMs for like 2 decades so it feels more like home though.
Next year, MXa will tell you what they really thought of the bikes….
so funny when I see these bike tests or shootouts out there on tracks that don’t have ruts or bumps. Where’s the east coast shoot outs

i actually stopped watching that “shootout” i was disappointed in just about every part of it … including it was a rolling advertisement so i just turned it off.
Haha bro the shootout days weren’t in the video. That’s just the photoshoot day.
