Why would you want to pick up a game and be good at it right out of the box? People like you amaze me.

The game is solid. The patches make a big difference.

I think it's probably one of the best moto games ever made. EVER. What's so bad about it? Without you saying "the whips look bad". Who cares that doesn't effect the racing. Go into first person view. The only bad part of the game is getting into online matches (even with dedicated servers sometimes the lobbies don't load) and right now your settings get reset between matches.

Allot of the achievements are somewhat glitched and are tracking really weirdly. I got the scrubs achievement by just freeriding in the compound and literally spamming scrubs on every jump / bump / whatever till it popped up lol.

I see lots of people bitching and moaning about this, are you guys all blind? When you go to customize the bike there should be a button to hit to completely remove it. I’d tell you exactly how but I don’t remember. Use your eyes, you’ll find it. That’s what I did.

Overall, MES3 is the best yet. Great game. The physics are coming around. They need to build and improve from here. More animations, more inside ruts/options, get rid of bog after using brakes, more low end power, tone down the weather (it doesn’t rain all the time! Ok maybe Seattle should be 1 out of 5 races, but the rest should be double that). The career mode is pointless considering you race the same season over and over again. Unless they can add dynamically created seasons after the current one, there’s no point, just have championship mode. I’d love a...

SX3 is in a different league to SX1. I think your lack of play time possibly with the wrong settings is clouding your judgement. There's a lot of people loving this game when they get into it...

Love the tracks Spode!!! personally my favorite change from this game and the ones prior is the whoops. The bike, rider, flow etc are so much better. The whoops at Atlanta aren't long but they are brutal and really require actual skill and setting up.

Just finished East and West championships and it rained once, at Vegas of all places. BTW, This game is pretty damn good. Digging it. Like always wish we had some ruts.

If I'm understanding you correctly, being able to start a new single event instead of having to continue a previously started event is indeed an option. I forget what button it is (maybe the top R button) but you are able to toggle between continuing with the previous event or starting a new one. If that's not what you're referring to, my apologies.
