It has probably been mentioned several times, but any bike setup recommendations?

I’ve found that the KTM, Husky and Honda seem to be a little quicker feeling then the others when modded out. I also noticed the Kawasaki seems really smooth and a little more forgiving then the others but not as much snap as the KTM Husky and Honda. Not a big fan of the Suzuki and Yamaha in this game.

I agree. The Husky is the fastest bike in the game for some reason. The Suzuki and Yamaha feel a bit slower compared, it's noticeable. I still win online at times on the Suzuki.

Good luck winning a competitive online game without everything maxed out on reactive instead of stability. It really makes a difference in corners and can shave a second or two off your laptimes. As for gear ratio it’s always short except at Daytona and Vegas it goes to medium. I don’t think there’s ever a track where you need a long gear ratio. That’s what I run anyway. In career mode it really doesn’t matter as you should handle the AI even with the toughest settings fairly easy.

It’s crazy how there’s actually a difference I thought it was in my head, but there’s definitely jumps and rhythm sections I can hit cleanly on the KTM and others that I can’t on the Suzuki and Yamaha.

You'll notice a difference for sure. On medium are you ever actually maxing out in fifth gear? I never did except on Vegas and Daytona. Hence why I bump it to medium for those. Not even really sure why long is an option because it's kinda pointless.

Maxing out all the preload/rebound makes it that much faster? I play the game A LOT and just leave everything on stock. I win quite a lot but when there is leagues with hardcore guys I'm in the 5-8th spot.

I actually use “long” gearing for most tracks.

Weird. I won 6 races last night and didn’t touch anything but rider weight, joint brakes and advanced physics. Just depends how good you are. This game still sucks by the way.

Sorry if this has already been discussed but 20 pages was a lot to search through.
Are there any places you can sign up for tournaments online for the Mx games. I know there used to be one back in the reflex days but I don’t remember what it was called. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I typically will be top 5 in even a stacked room with fast players. I leave all settings stock, on smaller tracks Ill change the gear ratio to short. I do turn off joint brakes and turn on manual rider weight control.

One thing I also noticed, it could just be me. Is that Dunlop tired hook up the best. I’ve tried the other brands and I feel like I slide around me. Is it just me

Played it for 10 minutes today riding the 250f. First impression is garbage. Couldnt turn then bike, has no power and generally feels shit with the physics.

See what comes of it.

Why would you want to pick up a game and be good at it right out of the box? People like you amaze me.

Where did i say anything about being good at it??

I just said the physics feel like shit like the previous supercross games have.

The 250f is basically dog shit, you cant get momentum going again easily, say if you case a jump in a rhythym. You then just bounce through the whole section with no hope of getting a rythym going again.

I have not owned a console since the original Sega Genesis.... my brother in law bought my son a Switch for Christmas so I decided to buy Supercross 3 since we are stuck inside.

It took me about a week of playing an hour or two a day to get used to it. Very frustrating.... but now I love it.

Have you tried setting physics to Advanced and weight to Manual?

I don't even have the latest game yet, but have copious amounts of time on both previous versions. The general consensus with this series is most definitely using "pro" physics (separate controls for rider and bike position) as well as separate control over the front and rear brakes, and manual shifting.

Game plays like shit, feels heavy out of the box with all the assists/standard physics on as well as riding the povo stock bike.

It will get really good. Trust.

Anyone have any tips for that rhythm section at Daytona following the whoops? I’ve tried everything and no matter what I try I just end up casing through it. The fastest way is just to blast into it and jump as far as I can and then case out.

Also if anyone is on PS4 I’ll be online for a few hours here just let me know if ya wanna play.

I was launching in as far as I could down side the the roller and jump as hard as possible and land on table then step off single out, then next section you can either step on then off and triple what AI do or step over and then double single out

The track editor is included in the game? There is a track editor pack you can buy separate. But it just adds options for your Track (have season pass edition of game) You can change the color of hay bales to neon color of choice, starting gate, finish line jump. Nothing extra for track pieces
