There's water fill up stations all over the property. Just bring a water tank, barrel, or water bladder and you can fill your camper back up like that. Gas stations not too far down the road from the ranch.

Same here. The time spent in the van driving to races all over the East coast was the best. Our last trip to The Ranch was in 2021, right before he went to college. He has since graduated and started his career. He texted last week and told me how much he missed the road trips and racing that we did over the years. I never added up the costs for the week(s) (or racing for that matter), but I would gladly pay double to do it all again with him.

I’ve had this feeling lately that for local races we should all go to the Loretta’s model. Just age and no skill divisions. An a/b/c split for adults in increments of 5 years is so much. We’re adults. We can handle getting 12th against people our age. Also would make local purse money bigger

Decided to do a top end. Getting conflicting info on head bolt torque. Anyone have a service manual?. Last Gen is 44ft lbs, motosport has a page with basic torque specs, it says 18-22 ft lb for head bolts.

Found no smoking gun with the leak down test. I'll put my eyes on the oil pump, make sure that's good. What if the case vent got pinched, built pressure then released? I did find it in between pull arm and shock bottom.

Did a compression test. Was 75 psi. Internet said 60 to 114psi based off a 12:5:1 compression ratio. I'll do a leak down tomorrow. Put my camera down there. Everything looked good, plug looked good.

Not shock fluid. Now I did get a kick off a bigger jump my last lap, rode the rev limiter pretty long which I never do unless I need to.

Have you guys seen oil blow by the crank case vent? Noticed oil on the van floor, looked up and it came from the vent tube, had got on the lower shock pretty bad. 55 hours. Ran fine that last moto. Oil change every 5 hours.
