Here's what I have come across since using the app: The CCU unit can be moved kind of like what Steve125 did. I did the same thing! I also did it the "less clean" way for testing sake and zip tied the CCU unit behind the number plate to the FI light/start wires to see if it would connect. IT DID! So having the CCU unit flat across the bar isn't "completely needed" in my opinion. Yes, you can input a setting, remove the CCU unit and still have the last setting you inputed into the machine. Sure, they could have done that, but they also could have just let Oldenburg race and followed up afterwards to find out if they had the right frame numbers or not, or whatever the reason... It can be hard to have "due diligence" when it's a live show and someone has to check every participant's equipment. Whatever the discrepancy, the easier fix to me seems to be "let him race, sort it out afterwards" because you can always pull someone from the results but it's really difficult (and obviously clumsy) to try to put them back in the results when...

It only makes sense that Oldenburg & Lawrence are unrelated and whoever told the TV crew is messed up. Lawrence is out because he didn't feel comfortable to race and AMA let Oldenburg into the main because of their screwup. They would have let him in even if Lawrence raced. Independent events.

noren would be the no brainer. he will put the bike on the tv screen the most. the dude always comes in as a fill and over achieves. very underrated.

Just putting it out there...I have some vacation saved up, zero skills, even less brains. The only thing I have to offer is a spectacular crash that's sure to get the team lots of exposure on social media. Wife is on board if I can find an insurance policy that pays off big.

He was quite a phenom back then. He used to race at my club, Treaty City MC, when he was on Minis and SuperMinis. He would smoke the A field while on his SuperMini. The F&S Rehmert Rockets were pretty cool. I never rode Suzukis or liked them for that matter but they definitely had a strong showing nationwide.
