Briarcliff MX. Nashport Ohio. Home of an ATV national and probably the best facility/track in OH. We have some damn good tracks here all across the state!

Not necessarily a great track these days (lost 1/3rd of the track to a property dispute), but just a great pic of raceday morning at my local club. Track doesnt always get a lot of attention, but when it does it can be pretty good.

I'm not sure how you possibly came to the conclusion from my post that I have never looped out or this was some sort of dig on Seth? The Villopoto reference was not condescending in any way, I just can't remember more than a handful of few loopouts in all the years I've been watching pro racing, and Villopotos loopout very similar on the green bike. I posted the thread because I want someone from PC to end the green curse and I'm hoping Seth is okay and doesn't miss any rounds. And yes of course I have looped out...

He expected to be in the air slightly longer, and wanted to land while on the gas. Unfortunately, he was slightly too low, and before he got his weight fwd, the rear wheel was down and digging. Forkner had a big outdoor crash on Kawi when he scrubbed so low that his front wheel touched the ground before he had the bike stood back up. I immediately thought of that when Seth went down.

Right, he thought he was going to go from takeoff to flat, had the bike pinned mid-air, but instead of going to flat his rear clipped the top of the landing while he was on the limiter and it caught him offguard. Look at where the roost is in the blurry af screenshot below. He just didn't think he was going to hit that landing.

I have no problems with the penalties but if you have that many red cross/red light jumping violations there is something systemic going on and it should be looked at internally to understand why.

I’m assuming the EPA was trying to say the runoff could potentially go to the water reservoir just a few miles down the road. But realistically I don’t think that could happen. Just sucks that they strong armed the track to the point of submission. Now that we lost Pitt Race to a data center and we are potentially losing the drag racing track to a data center as well (they also used to have a nice moto track), we’re not going to have a lot of motosport facilities here in western PA. Here’s to a long and healthy future...

I live ten minutes from what was Steel City and have heard a plethora of reasons. EPA is definitely the most common one. I’ve also heard internal family conflicts over money pushed Mad Mike to give up on it. I’d love to know the real reasoning though.

Tomac, Deegan, and Hammaker. I don’t know why Hammaker is being overlooked. He’s looked fantastic this year and seems to have his starts figured out. The kid never quits either, he’s exactly who we should want.
