I'm co-captain of a Christian outreach ministry in Alabama bringing the message to the motocross commmunity.

I'm also a founding board member for a moto safety organization called the Motocross Safety Council. We're trying to positively impact the sport of motocross in our state and region with safety minded changes.

Agreed. I hadn't heard of the SilentBob guys. I went to their YT page and watched a few videos. What they are doing doesn't look very complicated really. The OEMs should take note. They are starting with a complete working bike from one of the big five, which pretty much eliminates any issues with geometry, handling, suspension, frame, etc. But...

The Sur-Ron has junk tires. The suspension doesn't move. The rider seemed the least experienced. And the speed controller is junk. Funny, no one has mentioned the other three bikes that were riding with the Sur-Ron as they all seemed to be totally capable.

Another vote for Klotz! My dad started running the original Klotz back in the early nineties and then we switched to the Supertechniplate. That’s the only oil I run in both of my two strokes! Mixed with c12, that scent can’t be beat!!

K-Dub was the first I saw do it. I think it was New Orleans around '98 he did a huge nose wheelie during opening ceremonies and ended up stepping over the bars at the end when he cranked it over too far. I think we went on to win the 250 class that night.

A little story for you guys... Over the weekend I was up in the area where Mayson lives with a good friend; driving back to his house we passed Maysons house (growing up in the area I knew exactly where he lived when Hammer posted his address). My friends 15 year old son is in the back seat and said "oh yeah that's Maysons grandpa's house." Apparently they go to school together. Another vote for Klotz Supertechniplate. I run it in all my 2 strokes. Weed whacking never smelled better. Most any of the 110 octane racing fuels will just help accentuate the smell.

Like EI Dave and Black Dog said, you don't want to work in the industry. The pay is not that good because the market isn't that big. To stay competitive, the margins aren't big either. I'm a mechanical engineer. My advice is the same as above. Get yourself a good job in an industry that has stability. I'd suggest maintenance...

"IF" I was a factory SX rider in as good of health as they are I'd think seriously about purposely catching it right now which would give me time to get over it and carry some immunity all the way through the SX season, therefore negating the possibility of me having to miss a race due to Covid.

I don't know about other stadiums but in Atlanta they turned the ticket sales over to the big ticket agencies a couple of years ago. Since about 2004 I've been buying group tickets to that race every year. Some years I bought 400 tickets. Now, I can no longer buy group tickets because they changed the criteria to qualify.

The Walmart stores in my area still carry these. I've tried the 3 and 4 blade stuff and always go back to the Gillette Trac II plus.

You are correct, but unless you are concerned the previous owner might come along and claim you stole the bike, no reason to transfer. I don't remember the last time I provided anything other than a hand writting, or computer produced Bill of Sale.

Alabama does not issue titles for dirt bikes unless you are converting it for street use. It has become a huge pain in the rear selling bikes through Facebook with all the folks from out of state asking, "does it have a title?" I don't hardly even answer the question anymore.
