Has anyone ever fitted a GPS tracker to their bike? Like a small one you could hide in the airbox or under the seat? I know it wouldn't prevent the bike being stolen so much but would have to help with recovery?

Wouldn't it be awesome if the AMA hired him as an advisor on the sport and development from an amature and professional standpoint. Applying his knowledge, intelligence and attitude across the sport as a whole would be great to see.

The Aussie nats kicks off with 35points and runs down to 30th on track with the same initial reductions as the current system. It's a great way to pay back the privateers for their efforts in getting to the races and qualifying but also leaves a buffer of 10 riders so they still need to race to earn their points...

I wasn't saying Wilson 5-10, the team will be 5th to 10th. Wilson doesn't need to beat all the guys on 450's just guys on 250's and we only need one good result from him. I don't think that's overly optimistic at all. I still think Ferris's consistency is a bigger threat than Wilsons performance.

Wilson will be ok, with Coppins in his corner he should get some good support and great mentoring. Ferris will be the difference between top 5 I think. If he fires we will be top 5, if he doesn't somewhere between there and top 10.

Mosig? Geez you would have to be a big Mosig supporter to wanna put him in there. Put Ferris on the little bike and run Metty and Waters on the 450s.

The concentric swing arm pivot and countershaft sprocket was the main issue no one liked the BMW 450. Aside from that it had a great, reliable motor, good features, good mass centralisation and quality components. The lack of suspension pre-load via the chain made it very strange to ride.

Marmonts win over Reed in the Aus Supercross in Sydney (from memory) only 3 days after he lost his daughter. I don't think there's ever been a more emotional victory. Whole crowd was cheering him on like crazy!

They've done well with the looks department but the rest of the package screams overrated. 250L motor in an agricultural skeleton dressed up as a high class hooker. Why not take the R motor, make it bullet proof and work with that, it alone would decrease weight by almost 10kgs and increase reliable horsepower by 50%.

RV will be much more prepared having lived near and ridden these tracks more than Dungey or any of the yanks that competed at the MXoN a few years ago. I would be more surprised if RV finished outside the top 5 than if he won a Moto.

I think an Australian GP would be unreal and that it would also be well supported. Realistically the entry fees while high, wouldn't be that overwhelming for teams to only pay once through the year. This news, about them shutting down the factory, has come out from a few different sources over the past few weeks. These guys are the only ones saying things about it not reopening.
