ando Liked a reply to forum topic Why can’t MXGP fill the gates in MX1 and MX2?

Tell me this - would you rather have 25 riders and only 2-3 lappers by the end of the race, or 40 riders on the gate and 17-18 lappers at the end of the race? Anyone who thinks filling a 40 rider gate in an elite series is a point of superiority is kidding themselves.

I've ridden a few, all are pretty darn good. Motor wise it seems like as they went along, it got easier and easier to ride. 14-15's are still fast but it's way up top. The mid and bottom is just ok. Clutch works just fine, forks are personal preference, I just like spring so mine has a conversion, (have a 21'). I may pull the trigger on a new gasgas that's a year old. The price is right, and sounds like they really have that motor dialed.

There's a pocket of guys in western PA/eastern Ohio with no money, who will put 30 seconds on that kid in work boots after working a full shift at a diesel mechanic shop on Friday. If I had a semi truck, a budget, and needed to find talent, that's where I'd go. Those guys are still hungry, and that hunger cant be tought. I wouldn't be messing with podcasters and Instagrammers these days. No offense to yinzers, podcasters, or instagrammers.

For the 2nd moto start today, most have seen Kitchen and a few other riders tangling up and blowing the first turn and headed towards that photographer. Well, that photographer was me haha. I've seen comments online asking if I was fine and to answer, yes, I got out of that situation somehow completely unharmed. I went right back to shooting pictures after that. I know someone was less than a foot from my back at one point, but regardless, I made it out safely (and 1000% lucky). Feel free to follow my Instagram/Facebook/TikTok at @svn94photo. I will be at...

Must have hit just right. I’m with you I expected to see a little more than that with how bad his bike was twisted up. I wish whoever took the video wasn’t a #38 fan. The series leader goes down and they clip the video after they get to yell #38 name and see him go by. I would have been turning the focus to Hunter and zooming in on him. At the very least continue recording to see him get back going.

Lock him up and throw away the key…. Absurd that he wants to be compensated for his work?!?! You think the USA basketball team gets paid to do the olympics?

Nobody wants to be part of the team that looses without Lawrence #1 and Lawrence #2 lined up. Damn, we’re in a tight spot.

Downvote if I’m wrong but I don’t remember there being this much of an excuse about who’s paying what and riders not going because of it until recent years. Outside of an occasional rider sitting out to train for Monster Cup, we just picked the best and the best went. Hell, wasn’t it Tedesco that broke his foot just before the event in ‘08 or ‘09 and rode anyway? We used to get excited about it but now every time MXdN comes up it feels like a charity event.

I’d rather the USA lose than have them win with that guy representing our nation.
