8/8/2026 3:20pm None of this makes any of the racing better, only more expensive. If everyone on the line had a 2006 2-stroke 250 the racing would as good, if not better than it is when everyone is on a fuel injected 450.

8/8/2026 3:19pm I wouldn't bet on Polaris doing an Outlaw or Predator-type machine, 450 or otherwise. Their bread and butter are CVT 4x4 machines. In the big bore class, they more or less offer the Sportsman (utility) and Scrambler (sport) as 850/1000cc inline twins. The only real differentiator between the two are the plastics. This is pretty much mirrored by CanAm with the Outlander and Renegade. The current Scrambler had factory backing in GNCC for many years and there are several still running the 4x4 class. Most frontrunners have moved onto Renegades though due to lack of factory support. Team UXC was...

8/8/2026 1:50pm Active suspension. More data acquisition and controls. MotoGP technology will trickle down. Then $30k for a dirtbike.

8/7/2026 11:49am No, they don't. The 30 and 45 are called sportsman classes. This just means theyre eligible if theyve never scored a pro point. This means 21st-40th at outdoor nationals or missed qualifying by a spot for a supercross main. You ever watch the skill level at an outdoor nat in the 20s? Still professional. I still maintain that if youve made the fast 40 you shouldnt be racing Lorettas. You should be racing vet nationals. Not amateur nationals.

8/7/2026 11:48am Ya I feel the same with everything you just said except for the goofy part. Just thought we could all agree that sitting with your hips that far behind your head and shoulders is most certainly not a regular stance while cornering with a leg out… but this place has become Reddit for moto. Him and Mike Alessi are two of the fastest I can think of from recent generations that always cornered that way and made it work with the big dawgs. Guess it just really stood out to me this week after 5-6 years of watching everyone try...

8/7/2026 11:43am Dont forget money. Likely the main driving force. My wife watched the Phil n zach show and told me it sounded like they were complaining. Simple solution, as ill always share... Replace +25 with Vet Pro. If youve ever made fast 40, thats your class. Leave pro sport for the kids too. Every other vet class should be if you've never made the fast 40. No A class crap, no pro license determination. Simply fast 40 rule. If youve made the mains, you possess a skill that only a professional has developed. These classes would explode with revenue too because...

8/7/2026 11:41am I am blaming both of them, hes just chasing trophies to make himself feel better because he can't win in the big league so he has to race Amateurs at the "Amateur" national. Hes not the only one

8/7/2026 11:40am Sorry but him and few others shouldnt be at the "Amateur" National Championship chasing trophies. LL needs a retired, ex pro class

8/4/2026 1:57pm That's what pisses me off. Everyone talks about how long the season is. This makes it two weeks longer. And I don't want to hear, that it gives guys time to rest and recover. Keep racing MX and then do a two-week break before SMX if you want. But this is ridiculous.
