45 second lap times results in way too many lappers too early in the race. Some of them go down multiple laps. I would like to see anyone going two laps down be officially shown the exit ramp.

It's an incentives problem. As long as the 250 class gets the same TV and media coverage as the 450s, teams will focus on both series. There is presumably more ROI having TV eyes on your guys upfront in two different classes rather than one. If you had only members of elite factory teams in the 450s it would still mean the majority of the field wouldn't be shown during the races.

So I finally got my sprint car running and had my first day in it, what a beast, I couldn’t have ever imagined anything could be so fast and maneuverable. Felt pretty comfortable by the second session and I had some help on setup by Mike and Brian Whitley wich was super cool of them. Brian is a top dog in the California scene lately. I’m racing the local Ventura raceway series starting this weekend and the plan is to not wreck myself and especially not wreck anyone else during the learning curve. Based on lap times I should be...

I wonder if someone is in his ear trying to tell him stuff when he is talking because he speaks decently during normal interviews and podcasts. And then in the broadcast “to win you will have to be the best”
