The truth is AZ has a small MX population. The tracks dont get huge turnouts. And AZ MX riders are overly critical of tracks (my generalized opinion) which doesn't help. AZ riders do not want to drive. The vast majority live in the Valley (Phoenix) and all the nice areas are high elevation (like Prescott). They complain if they have to drive that far. Prescott had a public track for a long time. It closed (Verde Valley) Fort McDowell Area had a track, Grindingstone. Everyone knows the story about how it closed from a kid getting hurt. That was the worst coverage i have ever seen on MXGP-TV, the camera placements were shocking, the sound was awful, the feed dropped in and out, comms was sketchy, at one point we were taking the on circuit feed. I have no clue how it can suddenly be that bad, unless they had a new bunch of people somewhere in the loop..MXGP-TV is always solid. I will make enquiries, something wasnt great , and folk deserve to know. Its obvious that they dont have in 'infeed' of their own 'outfeed' , because if they did, it would get seen instantly...
