Or you could lose 2 pounds off your person, 2 pounds off your bike, and still take a dump before a race. It all adds up.

What if it’s enforced by a Marshal, or a guy named Marshall?

With all we know about the virus and how it spreads, outdoor events with little crowding should be allowed to go on with safety measures in place.

So, I re-watched the video, and I can easily concur that the kid made some soft of mistake which sent him off track. No problem there. He also didn't accelerate in an unsafe manner, but he sure didn't slow down a lot, either. He also didn't even look over his right shoulder when re-joining the track in front of several guys who were on track. It's a tough call, but if the track officials knew about it and decided not to penalize him, that's it. It's "at the discretion of AMA officials," after all.

After seeing the Radmx video, he went off the track edge, he DID NOT try to get back on the track, but HE DID chop the throttle and back off. Whether he backed off enough is subjective. Been a ref, so been there - done that, and on the overhead video it looks bad, the ground level it is borderline, but considering the event, level of competition, etc....I'd go with pro rules and in pro rules, he complied. If that was RC4, JS7, ET3 or MM25 it'd be called ok

At 140 hours the right side main bearing went out and engine was using some oil. I replace main bearings, top end and timing chain. Rod was tight yet and a way better design than previous years, so I am still running it. Also I had the countershaft seal start leaking twice.

And i beg to differ... there are WAY more people out and about than normal because they arent working. I went to walmart the other day to get a tent because i didnt feel like pulling the motorhome out for an over night camping trip. There were ZERO tents in walmart... not kidding... the entire camping section was bare shelves. Our city looks like a god damned retirement fitness community on literally every day of the work week. Literally every single street has multiples of people exercising instead of working. Its is CRAZY!! Lakes are packed, parks are packed, campgrounds...

IN Washington State there were more deaths from all causes in the first half of 2017 than the first half of 2020. This is from data pulled from the CDC website. Shouldn't a "Pandemic" increase the overall death count? -

for me....I feel that I had more of a traction issue with the rear than a brake issue....not enough low speed compression to keep tire to ground pressure
