It's odd. Anywhere I've brought up this set of data it pisses certain people off? I've never had anyone refute it factually though. I guess you gotta be a special kind of stupid if facts piss you off..................I've been told multiple times that I am spreading "Fake News". I guess the CDC is kind of fake news in a way.............

And i beg to differ... there are WAY more people out and about than normal because they arent working. I went to walmart the other day to get a tent because i didnt feel like pulling the motorhome out for an over night camping trip. There were ZERO tents in walmart... not kidding... the entire camping section was bare shelves.

Our city looks like a god damned retirement fitness community on literally every day of the work week. Literally every single street has multiples of people exercising instead of working. Its is CRAZY!! Lakes are packed, parks are packed, campgrounds are packed.

My brother lives in san francisco and it sounds like a different world there as to how restricted they are... or at least people adhering to the restrictions.

As far as the data posted above goes, im surprised the deaths arent significantly elevated above normal... not from covid, but because there are such vast amounts of people unemployed enjoying the paid endless summer.

There were no Covid-19 deaths for the first 8-9 weeks of 2020, so it'd be a bit more of a comparison to compare the numbers after the first case/death was recorded. It does make you wonder why there were so many deaths in the first few weeks of 2017, though......

I saw this recently too. Telling someone to go look at CDC numbers is “down playing the situation”. This stuff is insanity at this point and yea, there are a lot of people and families getting into a really bad position because their livelihoods were forced away from them by leaders ignoring actual data. There are massive consequences to this horse and pony show going on that people aren’t talking about nearly enough

You know, I just had a thought after glancing at my truck and seeing my Discovery Pass hanging from the mirror.
We buy our passes for access to DNR land and OHV areas. Some buy annual and others buy day use. I highly doubt anyone purchasing a pass after the 24th is going to be made aware that these areas are closed. I wouldn't have known without this thread. Basically, people will be throwing away $35. Then run the risk of getting a ticket.
What's that going to cost?
I was looking forward to riding the 29th at Capital Forest.
I'm staring at my bike while getting my fishing gear organized for tomorrow thinking,

I added but did it quickly and didn’t bother to double check. Reason being even if off by a bit so close it certainly doesn’t justify the hysteria we are seeing. Not ny a long shot.

I used this time period as the first few months “massive death rates” were being touted to shut down the economy. as you can see those months didn’t show an outlier of death counts. I didn’t bother to use Covid specifically since that number has been polluted by assumed cases. The same spreadsheets have confirmed broken out & those numbers are much lower tgan the main cdc tracking graphic. If contact tracing is an important peice of puzzle we should be focusing on confirmed cases as to not waste resources or give a skewed picture of the hazards of Covid. That said, there is no definitive test for Covid. Current testing done by OHSU is subjective & extremely disorganized. I have clients who work in that department who have explained the process & difficulties surrounding it. Yet, with no definitive test tgey have been able to teack it even in third world countries. Or so we are being led to believe.....

My math was wrong , as I didn't read the graph correctly. But my point was mainly about , with something so deadly ( as they claim ) it sure doesn't look to be to much worse than previous years. That's also just one state.........THE state , where it started , mind you. Just wanted to bring that up.

Was on my way to UW the other day and got the best laugh I have had since this whole thing started here in WA state. On the box of ass gaskets at the Safeway gas station restroom in CleElum, someone had written “Gov. Jay Magoo Inslee face masks”. The real sad thing is they would look better than the ones he’s been wearing.🤪

This right here! Ryan as well as all the other track promoters have spent countless hours battling this bs and won over the weekend!! Can't thank them all enough for keeping moto alive and well during all this shit. Minus having to wear a mask here and there, the world seems to go back to normal for a bit when we're at the track.
