sounds better, looks better.....90% of riders probably wont notice the performance difference. Last mod you should do for performance on modern bikes, but if you got the money they do sound nice.

Took this after washing the bike and thought of this thread..... would never argue that I'm capable of using any of the power or feeling any difference in weight but damn it looks good.....

Waste? Maybe so. Do I love getting one? Fuck yeah 😃 Some bikes may benefit, some not. Do your homework and decide for yourself. Some people don't care about more tires or gas money, they just love their bike and want it to look a certain way.. nothing wrong with that.

I put an fmf slip on muffler with ca4bon end cap on my 350sfx….I rarely crash…. Sure as shit, I crashed first time out with the new slip on, of course I fall on the exhaust side right👍…. Did feel like I gained more overrev, if thats even possible on these 350”s, they already rev to the moon…..I”m old and ran stock shit most of my life due to $ always being tight…. Not much time left on my Mx life……I”m going to buy anything & everything I ever wanted…. I should order some Ti shit right now💪

i would buy that syndicate set right now if i could. if they would bring back the classic shift stuff from the 90s early 00s i think it would sell pretty good. same with fox/thor/no fear stuff. maybe its just me, but i love the older stuff.

It’s been probably about 2 years since Shift has had any new gear, sponsored riders, ect. (Actually it seems time has passed fast, it’s been since 2021!!) Fox definitely still owns the name and when you search it on Google, it comes to a link that takes you to Foxracing.com but then it’s an empty link on the Fox website. I've only owned 4 bikes over the last 20 some years. I quit racing after 2014. I had a 2003 YZ450, a 2005 YZ450, a 2005 YZ250 smoker and a 2011 YZ450. The smoker was fun, but I didn't stay committed to it when I went back to racing in 2012 after another multi year hiatus.
