I understand that many Americans don’t like Diffey, but what most don’t understand is that he comes from a dirt bike family background and is more core than you can appreciate. For me, I’ve grown up with knowing him and his family around local tracks, than as the voice at races, then on Aussie SX on tv, then V8 Supercars and many other motorsports before he went international. I think he sounds more professional than others and that Stew and RC are better in his presence, but of course I’m biased.

When I had my team, kids would walk into our area and grab plastic on the ground (like five feet from the mechanics) during tear-down. When you tell them no and to drop it, they go whiney and ask why they couldn't have it. I thought I was going to go to jail during outdoors because I was very tempted to smack the shit out of some of them...

Can you imagine the reaction if a kid asked Tom Brady for his Jersey or helmet as he left the field….why is it acceptable at MX races??

That is wrong on a couple of levels. First…the rule says hold your line. He didn’t. Second, when you take the momentum away from the guy it’s not easy sometimes to “easily go right past “. My god…Chase and Jett had 50 seconds on AP in 3rd…and you’re implying Chase wasn’t going fast enough so it’s his fault. Okay…This is why the AMA needs to penalize it. I've stopped watching it. I'm not saying it changed for the worse or anything. If I had to blame it on anything it's one part over saturation of the sport, and another part is that I'm spending my time more productively as I age. I'm 5'7" and 160lbs. I used to love ripping around on my daughter's KX100. I get where your head is at. That is definitely a fun bike and at my size it's probably the same feel that a 6ft + guy has on a regular bike. But my problem would be the Powerband. Yeah, no....I'm not a fan....but I do think it's cool when I'm watching the MXGP races, and the rider goes by the horn blower, and it blows loud and then dissipates as the rider passes. Not sure why I like that. I could not stand next to the horn or chainsaw for any length of time without wearing out....it's too much.

When you’re a young kid growing up with everything handed to you off a silver platter you will lack maturity and respect for others. Deegan has always had the best bikes, practice tracks at home, unreal motorhomes etc. Take someone like the Lawrence brothers or Webb who worked for everything they had and look how mature they are and were when they first went pro. And like Hunter said the kid is just saying all the crap his dad and parents are telling him.

I have never expected anything else from the Deegan males. Brians shit against Travis, Brian getting in the same room as Brennan at Lorettas, Being caught with big bore engines in the 50cc class etc… There is nothing classy about Brian other then when he put on his fake smile for the camera and Haiden being raised by him the apple don’t fall far from the tree. Listening to one of Matthes podcasts about how Haiden went by the HRC trailer while laughing and pointing on Hunters broken bike to start drama, i can say that i am mighty fine with karma sorting his championship hopes out.
