...If I had to guess, I would say their parents had may have had some significant input - Darren seems like a level headed man. This could be the first time in motocross or supercross that two brothers have won all the championships they enter in the same calendar year. The Lawrence brothers don't need the Pulp MX show (and the juvenile antics that come from it) to be successful or well known.

Removing safety feature from A-Star boots that prevent this type of injury. Not a smart move. Like OP, I thought about these pegs as a preventative feature after Saturday nights shocker. It makes good sense to me.

They do have different pin height options, so you could put taller ones on the main portion of the peg and the shorter pins on the ankle support or vice-versa.

If you’ve never used those before, the rear supports are sort of down and out of the way. I believe the idea is to only hit the support when your heel flexes into it. So you can still ride on your toes, but also have some support for your ankle when you case it.

I’d say the straps slipped on impact. There’s no way they were loose before that. On big impacts that force has to go somewhere and something will break. No boot can prevent all injuries.

Dude is as good in the booth as he was/is on the track. Not to compare Ricky and James but. RC was nervous as fk first season repeating himself just to talk. James is a natural in the booth, like he's been there for years. I think the two together will help RC become more relaxed. Good stuff!

As an aside, margins on bikes are complete shit. Like 10%. Dealers make money on the ad on’s, fees, DMV fees, and financing. Regardless, you should support your local dealer. It is a really challenging business, margins are thin and customers can be hard as heck. Find someone that treats you well and return the favor to them.

In the past I watched all sorts of Ping content online and read his articles. I enjoyed it all and respected his opinion. Fast forward to today and I skip anything with his name attached. I would even switch brands if I found a manufacturer I use supporting him. That sentiment is 100% due to his political beliefs and how he derides anyone who thinks differently.

Kind of weird if he never thanked him at all. But who knows, there is always 2 sides to the story, maybe KR didn’t know what was involved etc. maybe Kenny already had issues with Ping because of other matters. Still doesn’t justify him basically accusing him of doping weeks later. Ping acts like a 13 year old girl with a lot of these beefs he has.
