New England legend Bob Hicks passed away yesterday at age 96. He was one of the founders of both the NESC motocross race series and the NETRA trail series that operate through New England. He was also the founder of Trail Rider Magazine among many other accomplishments in the sport. He probably did more for dirt biking in New England than anyone else in the history of motorcycles. Just thought I’d share to pay respect as a fellow New England dirt biker.

Well, that sucks. Looks like the hospitality rig, but I could be wrong. If so, the driver of that truck is Pat, and he is the longest tenured driver in the pits, going back to 1993 and the original Yamaha big rig truck. He is a total pro, so something went wrong here.

2/23/2026 11:39am Yes, RC's was a twin prop. If he was flying to the west coast he flew commercial. They used that plane for mostly all east coast events. I think Lawrence's are doing the same, and I dont think its a jet.
