That’s the price they pay for being champs. At the top level, Motocross isn’t a nice sport. It’s fucking brutal, all the way around. Mental, physical, emotional.

It is open to every rider who entered the event, even if they did not qualify. At Pala, not one rider showed up. At Hangtown, exactly one rider showed up...
