Bummed for Deegan

I was skeptical at first, but Deegan has won me over with his solid rides, wins, and attitude.  This is clearly the year of the Aussies (congrats to Hunter and Jett), but Haiden will be a force to be reckoned with in the future.  Hunter had troubles of his own, which he graciously handled, but seeing Haiden have bike issues while running so strong was really a bummer.  He is really coming into his own, and I'm looking forward to seeing what he does in this last race and in 2024.

He’s really won me over. I was always a little skeptical, like he’s gotten a lot handed to him, had better equipment as an amateur, etc., but he has won me over. He has shown he has speed, fitness, heart. You can’t fake the level of fitness he’s shown. Also, I love how he rings the 250 out. He’s moving around so much on the bike, similar to barcia. I like his style. He’s really won me over.

Ringing the 250 out is what caused his bike to go boom. He should learn a thing from hunter and listen to how hunter keeps it in the meat of the power and shifts and it rev the thing to the moon

Bikes break, that's just how it goes. With hunter going little bro on the 450 next year Deegan will no doubt be a heavy favourite to take the title.

Bikes break absolutely. All I am saying is southwick is notoriously hard on engines and unadilla shall we say is not? But floating that sumbitch over every bump and jump will eventually pay its toll.

It's part of racing and Lawrence and Cooper know it all to well. Hate to see guys have DNF"s but it's nothing new

Listening to one of Matthes podcasts about how Haiden went by the HRC trailer while laughing and pointing on Hunters broken bike to start drama, i can say that i am mighty fine with karma sorting his championship hopes out.

Is it the AMA MX2 outdoors championship or the weekly Deegan show, unbelievable how much attention the guy gets.

He was close to Hunter because of the errors of Lawrence not the opposite.

The announcers are so busy talking about it the they totally missed the bike failed.

Think it was the Washougal recap pod, the same one he brought up the USA shant and then got hung about it here at Vital so i think the laughing at the HRC bike part got lost in the rage over the other things Steve said.

But more or less he said that the HRC guys confirmed that Haiden had done that and some other things to stir the pot and create mind-games.

Trash talk is one thing.

But that is pretty "trailer park".

He needs to elevate his game to match the level of riding his riding skills.

(And the work he's put in to achieving them)

Wow, if true that’s some immature bullshit! Hmmm, seems like that’s the same kind of shit Brian used to pull with Pastrana. Yep, Karma has a way of balancing everything out. It doesn’t seem that Humility and Humble are in the Deegans DNA though.

I have never expected anything else from the Deegan males.

Brians shit against Travis, Brian getting in the same room as Brennan at Lorettas, Being caught with big bore engines in the 50cc class etc…

There is nothing classy about Brian other then when he put on his fake smile for the camera and Haiden being raised by him the apple don’t fall far from the tree.

And before some nut hugger comes with the ”he’s just 17” crap, give it a rest. He is a well payed pro athlete with millions of followers, he should know how to act, and if he has problem with that, Star Yamaha should put a leash on him until he does.

Bunch of Deganites standing next to me at the race. When he didn't come back around they all headed for the parking lot. It would seem all the new fans he supposedly is bringing into the sport are not moto fans but really just Deegan fans.

That is a classless thing to do for sure and karma's a bitch sometimes . I don't like HD saying all the American vs them crap which is probably coming from dad . I understand at Redbud but after that give it rest .

How did you know they headed to the parking lot? Did you follow them?

Did you ever think they moved to another part of the track to watch the races?

You think it's unbelievable how much attention a rookie challenging the title is getting? Also the small detail he's  arguably the most popular rider in the pits. I'm being nice throwing in arguably.  He really is

No he is the most  hyped rider by the media in the pits.

The way he rides, defends his lines and act to the other riders he's an absolute asshole.
