Phil agrees with you, with Matthes laughing and (sarcastically) saying "Loretta's needs the money".... While Keefer keeps saying "careful, careful" But he says what he wants, right? Lol

Yeah it’s pretty shitty. I get the money and all that but the stream did well viewership wise and they had sponsors. Maybe this is the wrong mentality to have but I hope very few subscribe to Flo and it makes them reconsider going forward.

ohh yes you do and it cost something like 40$ to watch it. if you ask me its a BIG fuck up by DC. that was easy the best way for people that are interested in the sport to find a new young rider to be a fan of. i always put it on tv when i got home from work and watch when cooking food.

I haven’t been following this thread much, but these bikes sound like a complete piece of crap. Triumph should be ashamed for the way they have handled this situation.

On Facebook groups I’ve been seeing all kind of bikes being bricked because of a bad firmware update. Anyone have experience with this? Also on Facebook group tons of people complaining about the terrible support from stark when something does fail. Most people saying it was much better support in the early days.

I just had mine done by REP. I went way overboard and had every option put in the fork and shock. It turned out great. REP has revalved 2 bikes for me and serviced my my kids bikes as well. I have zero complaints. It’s nice when you spend the money and the product you receive is noticeably better. If you contact them they will give you all their options, and the price of each option so you can pick and choose what you would like. There’s no hidden fees, and the itemized price list is down to the cost...

Same here I made more on the strongest horizontal drill rig in the 90,s. I didn’t get union wages either I was in 3 including the ibew. Nobody wants to pay a good wage to any driver. Celebrity types r cheap even the mob. I paid 50 mil to bust a huge strike in Phily for 4.7 billion for 5 world record projects. weekly meetings & payments. I worked him for cash & only got 1,200-1,800 a week extra in 94. To make the most money I went to the Chicago EU 1099,s. My body paid the price for that...

I laugh every time I hear a media member mention the high revving Desmo Ducati. I would like to hear any of the maybe with the exception of Keefer explain the Desmo system. I had a long talk with a Ducati rep at the Ironman GNCC about the bike and Ducati in general. One of the many things he said was he wished the media would stop saying the bike was high revving and instead explain the Desmo valve train.

I understand Lewis Phillips' frustration with the comments. But I do not understand the reaction, perhaps it is cultural, him being British. Complaints about the performance you are giving are opportunities to improve your performance, they are not complaints against you personally, because obviously these people do not know you. Comments people give may be bullshit but looked at critically they may be a way to hone his craft if looked at insightfully or critically. Unless he feels there is no room for improvement, or that his very audience that listens to him is too ignorant to give input. This...

When the airing of the nationals was all fucked up, the reaction and comments of the "media" tells you all you need to know about the media integrity. Or when the kid claimed Deegan's bike at an amateur national. Or when Millsaps got fired. Or when "Let Broc bye". Or when Emig got fired. Or when RC and Diffey are shitty on a broadcast. It goes on. Many of these people in the "media" know, travel, have meals with, racers, team managers, major sponsors, and the like. For God's sake, Weege and Matthes work for DC. The DC never tells...

First off, despite the number of journalism schools willing to take people’s hard earned money, journalism as we boomers used to understand it, has long been dead, killed by consolidation and monopolization by a few mega corporations. The internet once held promise for the supposed “democratization” of the media, but the corporations got that on lock too. As for our absolutely tiny sport, the “media” has always played a lapdog role to the companies that make the races happen. Anger any of these companies and your access to events and athletes will be denied. Who’s reporting on the purse payout...

Lewis’ stuff has become one of my favorite listens. When Barica said we change some stuff on the bike Lewis actually asks what did you change. He finally got Barica to reluctantly say they slid the forks down in the clamps. I don’t know why Barica had to act so weird about it.
