“Has done nothing but complained about the kawi.” I don’t think this is an accurate statement, In one post race with Lewis he said “ this is the most uncomfortable I’ve ever been.” Other than that, when asked about the bike he has says, “I’ve just decided to work on making myself better.” I wouldn’t call that complaining, unless I missed something.

I'm almost sure Sexton signed before outdoors so he hasn't witnessed the Prado fiasko yet and he probably had to hate the KTM so much that he thought it could only get better. The amount of money he got offered from Kawi probably didn't hurt either lol

After Weimer, Tomac, & Prado not having exactly a love fest with the Kawie or the team...I wondered why the absolute hell did Sexton think it would be different for him? He hasn't gotten it right yet. When a team and virtually every rider that's sat their butts on their bike have had a negative experience...you have to wonder.

Prado's bike hand grenades and within hours we have a video with team manager discussing the issue...but we can't get a single comment from a Kawi staff member over what happened? Another PR disaster. They KNOW this is all over the web, they could just say "Oh, it was nothing. He came in to the pit, was exhausted and frustrated he fell, leaned the bike a bit and it fell over." Instead...crickets.

I think that Kier's attitude and negative reinforcement coaching style is what has caused Chase to become the head case that he is. Kier has always been the first to blame the bike and the team and say "well it's not my kid he's perfect". So every moto when Chase pulls off and the first thing he hears is "you look like shit the bike looks like shit your set up is off we're never going to beat the Lawerence's like that" eventually that is beaten into your head... I don't have any inside information to base this off of...

Remember him stalling his KTM and it fucking up his race multiple times during his battle with Webb in '25? Imagine the Zook and him having to kick it over. Food for thought

Kawasaki needs to turn the team over to Pro Circuit. Mitch will get the team on track.

Between the Chase situation and Kawasaki's reliability issues with Stew Baylor in GNCC they have had a rough couple years. Stew seemed pretty frustrated after yesterdays race, he was last off the line with the bike not starting and having no clutch for almost the whole race. Reading between the lines in his interview it sounds like he is relying on some guys on the OEM side to help with these issues and it isn't happening. That being said he got 3rd and his brother won the race on the same bike. Interview at 3:38:16 mark

It's also been reported that he left both teams in basically Irish Goodbye fashion, no thanks, no handshakes. Just peaced at the last race and they never heard from him again. Is that a crime? No, but it shows a lack of maturity and is kind of odd.

Not an insider, and I maybe wrong, but I feel like the opinion of Chase burning bridges isn't 100% accurate. Yes, he's been somewhat critical of his bikes but I felt like him leaving Honda had more to do with the Lawrence's moving into the premier class than the bike. In fact I thought Honda made him an offer for 2024. KTM had some shock and brake issues with multiple riders calling it out but leaving had more to do with personalities clashing between Chase and some team members. Aside from releasing a two stroke in 2026, going back to KYB is one of the best choices Kawi could make for a new bike.

I just reached out to Honda Racing management and Lawrence management; both responded, stating the rumors are BS, no further crashes or injuries have taken place, and he will be racing this weekend.

Probably the same kinds of issues that the old Factory Yamaha team had before star.
