Serious question, how much effort does the AMA put into helping Harley riders not wear helmets versus keeping tracks and trails open for us. I have ridden for 50 years, and have repeatedly been told to support the AMA, yet I fail to see them put any effort into my end of the sport. I worked with my states department of natural resources and the AMA didn't even return phone calls, emails, letters, etc.. What do they do for dirt riders in a practical sense besides enforce rules at races. Do dirt bikers need our own organization?

I own a utility construction company and have done many projects in and around East STL. It's one of the most dangerous areas I've ever worked in and we have completed projects in the worst areas of Miami, Southside Chicago, Oakland, Houston, Newark, etc. The police recommended that we limit our hours on site from 7-2, because after that things would began to heat up and they would have limited response to calls for assistance.

I have no problems with the penalties but if you have that many red cross/red light jumping violations there is something systemic going on and it should be looked at internally to understand why.

Nashville Supercross this year was in Morgan wallens bar and me and my buddy are at the bar buying a drink, my buddy goes why do i recognize that guy thats across the bar from us, I look it and its Jeremy McGrath, Jeremy noticed us talking and looking at him and knew we recognized him and he waved us over and we talked about the race that night. I disagree. When you have an unlimited supply of someone elses money, its really easy to get totally lost. A smart team with tight purse strings can do stuff better, because they dont waste time and money 'trying things' because they can. I have seen it first hand, there is nothing more dangerous than a mediocre engineer with a big budget.

Great interview and insights from Mitch Evans. As an Aussie I listened to the whole thing. Regards his comments on the Kawasaki though, certainly puts a new perspective on it. I didn’t have much sympathy for the woes of chase (or prado last year), but this certainly painted the situation in a new light. Best comment from Evan’s, something along the lines of…. ‘ I could ride within myself and qualify near the front on the Honda. Push myself past my limit and nearly die three times in one lap and qualify 10th on the Kawi ’. Pretty eye opening.

That’s the thing: just use saw dust. Mixes in way easier and breaks down and adds life to soil way faster. Mulch will break down and help the soil in a month or two but until then exactly what they’re saying it’s total shit. Too chunky and loose for too long. Saw dust is the secret weapon. Learned it on here and it’s the truth.

Every track that uses mulch instead of saw dust is missing such an easy tweak.

The complaint is they didn't rip it deep with the mulch to mix it in. So the mulch was on top of a hard surface making it slippery.

I would JETT & hunters bikes handle amazing. Too many electrical plugs on these bikes. Brutal hit though, I know that feeling I hit a steep ramp for a triple & the back wheel shot to the sky .
