If I had to sell both of my bikes and pick 1 bike, I'd probably go with a 2025 Husky FE350s. The 500s just weigh too much for me, and the 350 is just easier to get race ready than the 501 (In my opinion) via weight loss, ECU mapping, and exhaust. I personally would not get a KTM dual sport, I despise PDS suspension and it drives me nuts through the whoops and on moderate-large jumps.

If propylene glycol was better than ethylene glycol the oems would run it stock. It's not, they don't, but marketing works wonders.

To answer more technically the MIPS tech helps prevent a rotational brain injury which is one of the worst you can have so the answer is it worth it would be yes. I wear a FLY personally and they have their own helmet tech (adaptive impact system) that is similar to the MIPS tech. Go to a local motorcycle dealer and try some on. Brands usually keep the same models for a few years but change the designs every year so you can find outgoing designs on sale to make room for new ones. That’s when I score mine.

I suspect that a good head flow, backwards engine and cam profile has more to do with it than a off the shelf ceramic bearing.

Go with OEM bearings and seals. I was recently doing front wheel bearings and seals on a KTM 250sxf. I compared the SKF part number from the bearing i got in the kit to see if I could do it cheaper from a bearing house next time around. Bearing house wanted to bend me over with 125+ for ONE bearing. Whole kit with seals and spacers from the dealer was 73 bucks. And I double checked that it was the same PN. Couldnt believe what they were trying to charge.

As long as you use the same one every time, it doesn’t really matter if it’s 1/2 psi off.

The whole sprocket/chain thing sounds fishy to me.

First off, Mark / REP does a great job but your post here is probably doing more harm then good to him based off the way you’re writing and claiming things about other companies without any real background on everyone’s processes. Example, Factory Connection has much of the same equitpment as REP, plus two full time R&D staff members and support trucks all over the country at events, especially off road. Enzo/Ross is old school, knowledge and experience does drive his R&D process. Was good enough for Chase Sexton as of late… Anyways, it’s cool to come in and share...
