It’s been a while since I’ve shared an update on Jake, so here it is — and man, time really does fly. I wish there were more to report, but for now Jake is still mostly in his wheelchair. He can get around with a walker, and while it may not look pretty, it’s still badass as hell in my book. He just started a new job last week as a flight scheduler for Life Flight, which means he’s officially back in the work saddle after two years. Huge milestone. He also trains at the Adaptive Training Foundation in Dallas...

Dude is out here putting his life and health on the line to chase his dream and we get to watch every weekend for our entertainment. Then when he takes a brutal slam the first thing some of yall can think about is his wife being a gold digger, his family money, retiring and getting a “real” job, whether his wife would marry a coal miner from WV? What the fuck? A few yall need to take a deep look in the mirror and be better humans.

I have some great memories riding the “old” E-Street in Marysville. We’d park under the bridge, and carve out a track using some of the old lines from Dave Coupe’s annual race. It had these amazing sand berms. Then usually we’d grab some Carls Jr. and/or Taco Bell on the way home. I miss those days

If I’m reading the tea leaves correctly… Troy is still very involved in “who” his riders are just like he has been since the TLD Honda days…and I like that. Also, I have no f’ing idea how I’m supposed to have a problem with… Troy being loyal to a rider that’s been with him for years or choosing a rider that’s won championships and, obviously, Troy still believes he has the speed to be competitive. In both cases I’m assuming these rider choices were “cost effective”. And then there’s this… If both of these guys end up in the top...

the whole "downvote" feature was stupid when introduced and now this new feature of hiding posts is a double down on silly. What value does "voting" on a post possibly bring to the conversation?

Who is it meant to protect, the poster or the people reading the post?….or the forum admins? What is the purpose of that feature?

Then why have of the upvote/downvote garbage? Nobody seems to want it.

I think that if downvotes are going to carry enough weight to alter a topic title being hidden then we should be able to see who is downvoting. Hiding downvotes and showing upvotes gives power to the mindless coward. Either hide both, show both or get rid of voting altogether.

The heat is very tough, hotter than my time in West Palm Beach, Fla. Having said that, you can and do get acclimated to the conditions. Still, not sure you will get comfortable during a short vacation. Here’s to hoping you have a fantastic time and leave with some great memories !
