everyone who rides a Beta loves almost everything about them. It wins tons of off-road and WORCS races at the highest levels. I don’t agree with the people who say he and his brother should skip SX next year. At some point they are going to have to learn to race SX and no amount of laps at the practice track is going to teach them that. Look at the practice tracks many pros ride at, they all ride the same line the whole way around, they might as well be a train on the train tracks. Real SX has ruts and other riders you have to navigate which changes things completely.

Not really. Prado had 3 week camp after winning his first title and rode a handful of races in his offseason with no pressure. Then he came back did a full camp, rode two races, got hurt and then did an entire camp again before being ready this year. It was a multi year plan and it still didn't end with him making every round.

This probably sounds crazy, but he isn't going win a supercross title this year anyway, so why not keep him out until Daytona. Let him burn a million laps at the test track on a 450 just getting familiar with the bike on a sx track until March. Start very slow and ramp up the speed. If he tries to be ready for A1, especially after his knee injury, it's just asking for trouble.

The biggest thing about RC staying in it would have been that it would have Kept Stew focused, he didn’t think of Reed as a huge threat IMO and probably didn’t think the Ryan’s would be what they became but he would have still gotten hurt. Tomac is still second all time with 89, Stew drops to 70. Stew is still the most frustrating racer giving up another potential perfect season in 09 450 MX. That tv show of his slightly was scripted but the part about his dad saying your racer, you race that was real. MC has 87, RC 124.

From the start of the year I figured this would pretty much be Levi’s real shot at finally putting it together for a title now that Deegan was out. When he got the red plate I was hoping he’d keep it but based off of his history, figured it wouldn’t last long. I like Levi and want to see him get one, but he’s proved over and over again that he isn’t mentally strong enough to do it. Skipping Moto 2 for no good reason just solidified that for me.
