First lap of the day should always be a sight lap. I don't care how good you think you know the track. I've lost track of the number of times I've seen lap one of Saturday practice end someones day/weekend/season.

Sweet bike…. I see many think they want an open 2 stroke and then…” for sale at 4 hrs” give it some time, I think about 10hrs without going back to your 4T…..to get your 2T chops back…..I ride both a 350 and a 300 2T…its much easier to ride the 350 for longer periods of time….If I can do 20 minute moto on my 300…I can do 30 minutes on my 350 …..I mainly use my 300 for my sand woods/ moto track….gets on top of sand better ImO…

I'd love to see '24 Sexton back with an attitude - the guy was amazing. I'm just not setting myself up for expecting the new Kaw to be a silver bullet only to be disappointed. Seen too many garbage scows delivered when expecting a hot rod. 😄 The oldest that comes to memory was the '81 CR450. It was supposed to be a "works" bike, and I'll admit it was close. It was a "doesn't works" bike. 😁

He's my "idk man" through the 4 rounds we've had. I am disappointed in his performance as a 2-time world champ. He's not even in the conversation with the Lawrences after 3 laps...

Different bikes, different track, different country - those brothers could probably win on Kawasakis!!

June 17, 2026 6:55 am Pacific Time After enduring temperatures of 110F for much of the day, Jeff Ward and Micky Dymond were happy to see the sun disappear over the western horizon. However, the temperature only dropped slightly. It was still in the mid-90s when they rode through the desert town of Brawley, California. They’re currently closing in on Time Station #6 in Congress, Arizona. With 370 miles ridden since leaving Oceanside yesterday, they’re keeping an excellent pace. I ride a KTM XC-F 350 everywhere, track, tight woods, off road, desert. It's basically an SX with a 6 speed, bigger tank, 18" rear and spring forks. I changed the springs for my weight added an XPR tuned vortex ecu and a fan. It's really the best all around bike for me. I have had them all, KTM 300, SX450, KX450 and the XC-F has been the best do it all bike. I spend 70% of the time on tracks the rest of the time racing some NORCS and riding single track etc. The bike is more capable than...

Some of them are gonna be mid pack regional B speed some will walk away from most your local A riders. Their speed varies alot but there all pretty fast no matter what.

I wouldn't say it's cooked, but... Unless Sexton gets his act together it looks like Deegan will be lone American flying the flag among the top 5 in the 450 class for the foreseeable future. However the real problem is the next generation. Once you take Deegan out (and the Lawrences prior to him) the current crop of 250 riders is horribly inconsistent. For example, in the 2025 season, when you take out Deegan and Shimoda (himself a non-American rider) who combined collected 56% of the available podium spots, only one other guy (Vialle, another non-American) was able to put...

No Americans on the podium in the 450 class does say something.. I don’t know if it’s the system or how we prep the tracks or what it is.. but there IS an issue

Carb on a 4 stroke? No way. But give me a carb on a 2 stroke, all day.
