2/24/2023 9:54am I drove through Glen Helen this morning before sunrise on my way to Mammoth. It was snowing like crazy! Super sketchy going up Cajon pass. All I was thinking about was the track getting snow, crazy!

2/24/2023 9:51am I've never seen snow on Glen Helen before. I think MXA would suggest to add a tooth in the rear for the fresh snow

2/23/2023 1:19pm I wish more of the top 250 guys would dip their toes in the 450 class before making the full-time move to 450.

2/23/2023 1:15pm I assume if James heard Weege say you can't predict the leader is going to fall, he'd have a grin on his face, as that exactly what he did. Make James the production director for a race, can't be worse, right?

2/23/2023 1:14pm Imagine the rants that would ensue if Steve and the rest of the guys who attend almost every race and never watch the live broadcast were in our positions. That's a major problem I have with their constant defending of mistakes (I don't have a problem with mistakes) and outright poor coverage, they don't even watch, which they admit regularly. Mistakes happen. Show me the racing. Tell me about the racing.

2/23/2023 1:13pm So, when the broadcast is particular shit, I just turn it off and watch the live timing and scoring, perhaps turn off the sound. Despite Weege stated again and again the broadcast is perfection, there is so much room for perfection. On that point I hate to say it, RC is still awful, put James, Brayton, Blair in there. Anybody else, sorry.

2/23/2023 1:13pm In regards to the debacle of TV coverage last year Weege stated most motocross fans complaints and problems with the coverage was due to the viewers ignorance dealing with the complexities of streaming services and fans not being able to understand how to use the provided service. It seemed insulting and condescending at the time. This current take was similar. I really do not care what your task is, I was always taught to strive for improving and perfecting it. Weege's constant bashing upon the viewers that the broadcast is as good as it gets and his hyper defensiveness, stresses...

2/23/2023 1:12pm Agreed . Back in the olden days of internet we could only listen and watch live timing . You get a great overall take on the race by doing it that way actually . It’s easy to follow every riders’ race unfold . You pick up on a battle that’s about to happen , the guy in 5th just crashed , the guy that is putting on an amazing charge from 19th etc , all stuff that doesn’t get mentioned on the broadcast . These days I still spend about 50% of the race watching the live timing on a...

2/23/2023 1:11pm You can absolutely tell when a pass will happen. On the rider position graphic on the side of the screen it shows gaps between riders, you can literally see one rider catching another over multiple segments/laps. Eventually the race order changes and then we get a replay of the pass, meanwhile we were watching some dude ride around on his own

2/23/2023 1:10pm Nobody is ONLY complaining about missing the Sexton crash, so stop picking ONE thing and trying to make your point. Do people love to bitch? Of course. Is the broadcast and production pretty terrible and needs a dramatic change? Also yes. Don't try to pull the "back in my day" card either, I'm from the Cycle News generation, I understand live coverage every week is a huge improvement. Doesn't mean the ACTUAL coverage and production is good. It's not. It's not even close. Last week even the LIVE ANNOUNCERS were actively trying to pull the producer back to what was...

2/23/2023 1:09pm The best part of the interview was Brayton saying he would like to call the races or be involved full time. He would crush it in RC's spot. Let's go Feld! In Weege's defense, he did validate the issue with Race Day Live and was trying to point out there is no way to predict when a rider will crash or a pass will happen. He is not wrong and did not say it was all perfect in any way, If that's what you heard, pull the carrots from your ears.
