Hmmm, there's plenty of situations where as an employer you can work with an employee through difficult personal matters - and other situations that can't. But getting arrested multiple times for battery against your wife over allegations of cheating isn't one of them in my book. That's crosses the line of when personal life impacts professional career. There's been a number of calls that ive seen over the years that aren't cut and dry, this situation couldn't be more clear. You dont jump on a red light, Pierce jumped on a red light... What the actual F is so hard to understand, the AMA just has to follow their rules. The rules that dont say, "Do not jump on a red light.. unless you know, you think it's ok".

My annoyance meter was higher than usual last night with Miss Chatty Mouth. At one point we had some particlularly fantastic battling going on while she's simultaneoulsy on one her long azz drawn out useless stories on how she talked to someone before the race. I admit to being inspired by folks here and actually turned down the volume while she was yammering on...she was just a huge distraction while a great part of the race was unfolding. Can he refine his craft? No. He's been in the booth long enough that this is who he is. He's just very unnatural on a mic. Thats the biggest difference between him and James. RC is playing a character of what he thinks a broadcaster should sound. James is just being James Stewart

Agree, he has improved but the bar is really low. I want him to succeed and do well. I want a better product for everyone. But some of the things he says are hilarious.
