Lawrences aside, the standout rides for me were Webster - last to 15th TWICE, on a 250?! (and in back-to-back races too) - he is every bit a deserving MXdN winner. Also Pancar, a true privateer with a standout performance. Honourable mentions to Jo, Everts, de Wolf, Coenens - and Febvre who battled hard in that last race to get France on the box. The big hitters Tomac, Gajser and Cairoli (with a broken hand) also showed why they are revered. On this track, Sexton would have knifed the front a dozen times. Per lap.

Best team doesn’t always win, but it worked out this year. Congratulations! USA did great too.

J-Coop got second in MX2….on a 250 he hasn’t ridden since? up until the last 2 weeks. AND he had the worst of the 2 gate picks both motos….on a 250. That is pretty kick ass! …and DeWolf is fast as hell on a bike he has raced, and won an MX2 championship, for years. Great job Justin!!! . .btw…DeWolf is fast as hell and I by NO means assume deegan would have him covered. I do know DeWolf showed up for the fight, so if anyone gets to claim anything….it’s not deegan.

All the Dangerous dorks being sour is so on brand... Deegan copium is at an all-time high in here with some of you. Fact is, at MXoN 2025, Haiden Deegan doesn't exist. Period. Lot's of speculation, shoulda coulda woulda... If my aunt had a dick she'd be my uncle. As an American, I am proud of our boys that actually had the balls/brains to be available and show up. We got 2nd place. Pretty badass with a backup team if you ask me. Tomac killed it. They should be proud. Huge props to the Aussies for kicking everyone's asses once...

Didn’t say it was simple. It’s just bench racing, relax. It’s a fair possibility Chase could have done the same as Eli or better in the MXGP class and Eli could have done the same or better in Open. None of it really matters as the race is over. On another note, did America have the oldest team? Not bad for a group of guys that used to be considered past their prime. It’s awesome the guys are racing longer these days on both sides of the pond.

I know what you mean, and I agree that Hunter was the man, but the MXoN tells so many stories, that’s what makes it so special. At least for me, the MXoN is definitely not only about the rider who ends up on the very top. Just as an example, Pancar, a true privateer, finished in fucking 3rd place. It was the moto of his life, securing Slovenia’s best MXoN score ever. Don’t you think that’s worth mentioning as part of the story too?

I wouldn't say a lot, Tomac beat Hunter in 7 motos, Hunter beat Tomac in 15 motos this year

If you’re going with hypotheticals, then Webster doesn’t crash either race and finishes higher and we score way less than 19. See Australia only needs one different result while the US needs to change the whole team and results, probably easier to just accept it wasn’t going to happen this year. Best team won.

The only chance we would have had to win was a healthy Sexton and Deegan. Otherwise, the Hunter Brothers win no matter what. 2nd is best we can do next to the two fastest brothers in the world, and we did it.

Hey hey hey, SOME AMERICANS. I'm pretty disappointed in all the hate for the track prep, the broadcast, individual performances etc. As for RJ, he knew a good ride wouldn't be enough. He put in the extra effort trying to achieve a ride for the ages and couldn't pull it off. So we would rather he went 3-6 or something even though it wouldn't have allowed is to win?

We as a team used RJ‘s seventh place in our scoring, which means that he contributed to our second place. This was a team effort and one of the scores has to be dropped no matter who it is or what the reason for that score is. RJ did his part and we barely held off team France for second place thanks to Eli‘s heroic ride in the third Moto. I say again, great job team, USA!

If you think RJ shouldn’t be able to race for USA again , then I think you should never be allowed to talk about MXON on this website again either …

Apart from the moto 1 telecast issues, what a great weekend, great event and a Fantastic event. Oi, Oi, Oi.

Literally hiking through Sequoia National Forest and stopping at buildings with WiFi for updates. This was about as good as the USA was going to do. Good job.
