I’m with you. If that thing was fully seated in gear, it would’ve jumped the second he pushed the start button. There was a momentary delay. It might’ve jostled his nerves a little bit. He always has that pre-race ritual where he gets himself fired up and I wonder if he was a little off of his game from the get-go.

What I was wondering. On the podium, he took responsibility, but also basically said 'we need to sort the bike'. I thought it odd at the time as the f up seemed to be squarely on his shoulders. But when I rewatched it and saw that....'hmmm'.

Such a sad story. Never rode there but it’s lore in the motocross world will live on forever. I’m surprised club (semi private) tracks aren’t more popular. They keep out the riff raff, everyone gets to know and respect one another and police themselves. The state park track here in Utah can be downright dangerous at times with all different skill levels on the track.

The narrative that the youth all suck is old. The majority have their shit together and are going to do great things. Many of the ones who don't will do even greater things. Some will be complete shit. Sounds like every generation. I work with them everyday. The future will be fine. If old people will get the fuck out of the way and stop being Karen's every time they don't live their life's the exact way they did. There are qualities that are probably better about the next generation, and I'm sure some that won't be.

Personally I wouldn't consider his work he comes across as an arrogant pompous ass.. Not surprised about reading on some of the scam stuff he is pulling on customers. I believe it is the same guy that was associated somehow with another scammer that went by the username name KPracing out of Wisconsin. Both were selling a Stic metering block for 2t's.

Most groups that I see on Facebook that are populated with "Core" guys have seemed to have beef with Jett going back even before his missteps at the beginning of this season. To me with the fact that he is a way better outdoor guy would make me think the core fan would be all about Jett because that's kind of a throwback instead of being a Supercross specialist. Derek hit the nail on the head. I had very good luck and most of my experience with the Keihin, the only reason why I dont like the mikuni is because im too lazy to learn it! lol When speaking to douche bag (sleeter) he said it was specifically a performance based switch.

jG791, The fix is to have the crank sent off to have a prox or wossner rod installed. Brian Lambert at Mototech does a great job and is very affordable. He can do anything and I highly recommend. He gets brand new bikes like this and changes the rod out and better piston before bikes are even ridden. He did mention that he has seen a lot blow up under 20 hours but said if it lasts longer its usually ok for the most part. I wrench on the side so tearing down motors are not a problem. I take...

Yes, put either a Pro-X or Wossner rod in and a Wossner forged piston if you want a little more assurance.
