Picked u p a new 2017 KTM 250SX. It comes stock with a Mikuni carb now. Our 2016 came with a Keihin, we had some mods done to it an really like the performance. Is there any reason swapping these carbs would cause any unforeseen issues? Thank you in advance...

ill try to dig up some dyno charts. Most people just hate jetting the mikuni...Its ultimately more tuneable
but more sensative too
A few notes: my bike was used and when I put the carb on I was chasing a few problems. 1) my reeds were warped so I replaced those. 2) the silencer was super packed out, so they suggested I repack it, also I had a small gap where the pipe and silencer come together.
Once I got that dialed I've got 2 turns richer on the meetering rod and 1/4 turn richer on the power jet, now she's running great.
When speaking to douche bag (sleeter) he said it was specifically a performance based switch.
