I believe Matt said something along the lines that Star expected him to be retired by now and they're in a tough sport trying to pay for the future in Deegan. Who's 450 ride with Star is a done deal, already. Yeah I can't see Eli coming back unless he's on a program that hes completely confident can win him a title.

It could be there's a settlement. It could be he doesn't have assets and it's not worth throwing good money after bad to pursue it. Clues will be if either party talks about it, or Mirtl sues for malicious prosecution. But, yes, it could be refiled as long as that refiling is within the statute of limitations period, which could be 3-4 years depending on the state law and claims at issue. h

It's not just about the press conference. I think it's unprofessional/disrespectful. It doesn't matter if it's a business meeting, having dinner, out on a date, having a conversation, etc.; put your phone away for the time being. It's not hard. Yep, me being a boomer , agree scrolling your phone during a press conference is disrespectful. But what I found to be just as annoying is the Deegs way of giving flippant snarky replies and thinking he's being funny. Top that off with him making that weird high pitched Michael Jackson chirpy noise after he makes a snarky reply. Almost sounds like Tourette's noise... WTF is that? Davies is just amazing to watch in supercross. I am intrigued to see how he does come outdoors and the translation, but for SX. He picked it up quicker than Jett, technique is allowing the speed in control, and he isn’t over his head. If the kid stays healthy this is trouble for everyone else the next couple years

That’s a kid with zero consequences for his actions. He can do, say, act how he wants and no one will pull him in line. His sponsors are bigger than him. You would hope someone from above calls him out on his shitty behaviour when it’s necessary.
