1/7/2024 6:06pm For sure- can imagine your pain in seeing that lovely Goldie being sold.... Me also- similar story. Dad had 2 other DBD34 Gold Stars- sold off through time for money that doesn't bear thinking about now- alongside some of the parts (RRT2 Boxes etc!!) aah... it was years back though, I guess when the values were not so crazy as of now. Dad also had other BSA and Tritons/ Tribsas- all sold off in the 1970's -80's thereabouts. Me also (like an idiot) 15 years ago sold off the racing GP10 carb for the Goldstar Clubmans 350cc, alongside the racing...

1/4/2024 1:32pm Reed was one of the nicest guys i met. Back in 03 i seen him in the pits after the race. i was only a young pup so i was super excited. Gave me his goggles, let me sit on his bike for a photo with him and then showed me around the Yamaha Semi. Core memory for myself

1/4/2024 9:32am FYI. The Stark Bikes are Not Banned from the AMA, they just need more time to build a class for the "big Electric" bikes like the little bikes went through. They (The AMA) told me it's up to the Local Tracks-promoters can decide if the want to let them race with gas bikes or not. I've been riding with all my buddies for 6 months and no-one has had concerns. The AMA stated some BS about safety and "no" noise could be an issue during a race. Isn't the noise more of a problem then "silent" riding....lol 2 wheel therapy...

12/31/2023 8:32am To show you what a great guy George is. Back around 1989ish, I had problems with chronic shoulder injuries and was hanging around at a Perris race when Goat Breker was running his GFI races. Goat saw me in a shoulder sling and said he was sorry to see I was still having shoulder problems and mentioned that maybe George Holland could give me some advice. I told him that would be great but had no idea how that would ever happen. Goat asked for a good number that George could call me at and that he'd ask him to...

12/30/2023 9:26am Happy New Year Everyone. I’ve been riding this 24’ KX450 A LOT on my holiday and sure the airbox is small/choked up but the sealing has been decent if you oil your filter correctly. The key is to make sure you slide the outer portion of the filter plate into the airbox correctly and get those plastic pins inside the holes, then snap in. I’ve rushed it once and “almost” screwed it up so it can happen. I’ve seen one buyer suck dirt and Kawasaki warranty’d it but it looked like the filter didn’t have much oil on it. As...

12/29/2023 1:23pm There is not a chance in hell that I would not block pass him with a shopping cart. I would just tell him that I had to do it so that I could now honestly tell my buddies that I block passed the King. That would be the funniest thing ever.

12/29/2023 1:22pm I practiced with Rollerball a bunch of times. (Ross Pederson, Canadian GOAT) every moto was basically until the tank ran out.....no big deal - right - but on a tiny little SX track where the bike didn't exactly get on the main jet this can make for a loooooog day. He'd then run home.

12/27/2023 1:55pm Everyone of us that has raced has been in the WFO zone only to be flamed by somebody faster. That "come to Jesus" realization that we are not the best. If you decide to keep riding after that realization...it just becomes being the best "we" can be. I guess if you're Tomac or Lawrence or Deegan...you might not understand.

12/27/2023 1:53pm Let’s see … 1. I was on my 87 CR125 and Rex Staten knocking my beginner ass over in a corner at Canyon Raceway and laughing. 2. Getting passed by Mercedes Gonzales like i was standing still in 1990 at canyon raceway… i was on my 1989 CR125. 3. Same day as above Jimmy Button was hammering on his prior to release to public Honda of Huston 1990 CR125… i was amazed that he hit a section of 5 small about 2 foot tall singles too far apart to double and he would up shift on every landing which at...
